Sorry to hear about the infection and scare MIT. How about some excercise on top like walking or swimming to help. Thats what I need to do as cutting down on food wont solve it all. Im amazed you have the energy to cook properly I get so tired I end up with convienience food.:j0

Yes going to do that too KP. At the minute though I am only moving off of couch to throw up
. Hate being sick. Only plus is that I haven't eaten anything today
. Might give me a wee head start on the weight loss.
I was in Benidorm in November with 5 friends. Wild weekend away and it was fabulous fun. On way back I had to ask for an extension for my seatbelt and I made a promise then that I would lose the weight. I have lost a wee bit but only a few pounds. So this is yet another sign to me that I need to get my butt in gear and sort myself out. Another thing is that I have boxes and boxes of clothes from size 20 down to a 14 lying in my wardrobe and on my shelves. If I lose some weight then it will save me buying new clothes. I seem to have a lot of tops but am short of trousers and only have 1 skirt. Everything is telling me to get rid of the weight so I just need to get on with it.5 Year plan. Wahey. Slept all night and no more sicky. Hopefully that's it. Stomach still a bit like a washing machine but have managed to have a few drinks and no rejection yet. I am peed off at getting sick cos I am never sick but also it's the last week of my current job and I wanted to see it through to the end. We have a big night out on FRiday as well and the way I feel I'll be lucky to get there  and I am the one who has arranged it all.
Any way no more illness talk as I just cant be bothered with it lol. I called CSA yesterday to see where the payments are that I am due. Been told that I should have about £60 out in next day or so. If that comes through then I will pay it off of Argos and that will only be £50 I need to find to meet this month's target. I reckon I can do that at a push so hopefully the money will come through as promised.I will be really chuffed if I manage to do this. I am going to do it month by month and not look at the long term as that would scare the bejesus out of me. £580 per month for another 35 months . Damn I just thought about it :rotfl:.
Anyway to spends today. £6 to kids for lunches and £1 bus fare to DD. Need to go to bank for money for next 2 days lunches which means I am already dipping into next weeks money but c'est la vie.
Going to have a nice quiet day today and see if I can shake this lurgy off completely. Have a good day folks xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

I hate doing my busget and seeing how much spare I could have. Good news on the CSA so hope it goes in as planned. Also good to hear you are over the not to be mentioned again!:j0

Hi KP I know what you mean. On paper it always looks like you are okay but it just neveer works out like that
. I thought I might manage not too bad this week but ended up buying chocolate tonight at £1 and ds needs £3 tomorrow for a new bus pass. Not very much I know but when your money is as tight as mine is it just throws it all off
. Never mind I'll manage. If it gets too bad and looks like I cant manage everything then I will just go for a meal on Friday night and drink soft drinks. That'll save me a fortune. We'll see how it goes.
I have joined the 100 day challenge. As I have said before I have an argos bill I want to get rid of before interest kicks in so this challenge fits in nicely. It means I will pay it off a bit quicker than I would have done but that's good news I reckon. I need to pay £6.05 per day to manage this. Sounds nothing but still have all the other stuff to pay on top of that . I've transferred £6.05 into a holding account today as I have £67.97 to pay before end of month or that part incurs interest . I am determined not to pay any interest on this at all.:D5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Good luck with that. Is that raising £100 in a set time?
I think if you dont spend too much on Friday you will feel better for it. Although on the other hand if you do spend more than planned then dont feel guilty as it is a special occasion.:j0 -
TBH KP if I feel well then I will probably say to hell with it and have a great, albeit expensive night. I am really fond of some of the people and it will be a lovely night. If I still feel yukky then I will take it easy and save myself lots of money by driving.
The 100 day challenge is to chose a debt or a chunk of debt and challenge yourself to pay it off in 100 days. I owe £587.08 to argos so I have chosen that one and to clear it in the 98 days left of the challenge I need to pay £6.05 per day.5 Year plan. Hi. Back to work and shattered.com. What a busy day. Loads to do to wrap things up prior to finishing off tomorrow. Everyone getting more hyper by the minute lol. It's like keeping the weans in check I tell you :rotfl:.
DS was at college today and didnt get home until 7. DD was at her boyfriends after school so picked her up as well so we all didnt get home until 7. I had dived in and stuck a dish of macaroni in the oven and I spent £3 on chips. KIds were famished and so was I so it was extremely delicious.:D. DS now in a huff as I made him do dishes, hoover the mess he made changing the hamster cage and go for a shower:eek:. Driving me crazy with his moods and his poor sister cant even speak to him but he chews the face off of her. She is a nark mind you . Peaceful home ?? Not tonight it's not.
To spends. £6 for lunches. £3 for chips and that's all so not too bad. Been informed by DS that next week he needs money for college too. Also £3 for new bus pass for ds but I will deduct that from his pocket money as it's his fault he lost it. Tough love.
I've managed to put away the £6.05 yesterday and today that I need to do 100 day challenge so am pleased with that.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hi. Didn't get on yesterday as was at work and then went to pub straight from there. Got home about midnight.......trashed lol. Spent £47 but that was £12 for food. Got a lift home so that saved us a fair whack. Great night, great food and great company. Well worth the spend.Had inadvertently eaten cream in my sauce so have been up all night in agony with my stomach
and I mean all night. Eventually got to sleep about 7.15 this morning and dd woke me at 8 to ask me something . Fell back over at 10 and a cold caller phoned me at 10.30  I ended up being cheeky to them , which I'm not normally. I got my gall bladder out years ago but apparently you can still have loads of problems if you eat fatty foods and it really seems to be manifesting itself in me nowadays. Bl**dy sore. So no more cream for me and I will be hunky dory.
Other than my night out yesterday I only spent £8.80 on all our lunches so not too bad. I have £11 available to buy this weeks shopping lol. Now there's a challenge. I'll let you know how I get on later.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
