Been playing about with my snowball ( I'm obsessed with it :rotfl:). I have added my bank loan into the calculation as that then totals all my debts other than the ones relating to mortgage. It takes my dfd to Nov 2013 so that's what I am aiming for. My dd will be at uni ( fingers crossed) and ds will be in 5th year. I will be 48 yrs old so will be debt free other than mortgage prior to being 50. SOunds like a plan to me5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Well I cold just cry. Hate ex hubby and not so fond of the CSA . Just called them AGAIN. Been promised since 14th December that 3 pymnts of £20 were on their way to me so I reckoned that I should be due another few as well because nothing has been paid since early December. Turns out that there are only 4 pymnts o/s. 3 they can pay soonish and 1 that will be a week or so. Ex didn't pay in December :mad:. Same every effing year. Looks like the big man handing out pressies to the kids but doesn't effing maintain them. I wonder at times if I was !!!!ed when I met him cos I have no bl**dy idea why I married him. How can any man justify not maintaining his children. I was in ASDA with bl**dy coppers this week to feed his kids due to me having the audacity to have a night out.I am effing furious ....................... and breathe
.
To spends. I have £6 for kids lunches and 65p for soup for me. No other spends today. I need to put £13 into my account to make sure I have enough to cover bills until end of month. I have £20 in my savings account that I had put by for paying off of ARGOS. I also still have £101 to pay to meet my target for this month but that £20 can count towards that. To do the 100 day challenge I need to pay off £6.50 per day. I am £13 behind so far with this. I get £33 chb tomorrow so that can pay £24 for rest of weeks lunches and £2 for college for ds. My tax credits will buy some shopping at weekend. I have a party on Sat night but I will take the car and drink soft drinks only so it will be nice and cheap. Unless some cash comes through from ex then I will be knackered on both target front and also 100 day challenge and I will be severely peed off. Like I'm not already

So sorry MIT have you asked him recentely why the payments arent regular? Do the kids know? It must be so hard but at least you and the kids will know how much you gave and did for them.

THanks KP. I've calmed down now
. I should be used to this as he has done this for 10 years. 2 years ago I decided to withdraw my claim for maintenance and told him to shove it up his proverbials. He has been paying off the arrears he had accrued then since @ £20 a week when he bothers to pay. I then decided last year to reclaim as I was so skint and he never ever helps me with anything for the kids. ONly pressies at birthdays and Christmas. Never anything in between. I claimed in JUne and as usual he did not answer any letters etc that CSA sent him so they made an interim assessment. As soon as he got that he put in a change in his circumstances and that has now held it up again for another 3 months. I never speak to him. I can forgive him for being a rubbish husband, I can forgive him for leaving for someone else but I cannot forgive him for treating my kids as if they do not matter. My kids are amazing and I love them more than life and I just dont get it. DD rarely goes to see him now and I reckon DS will be the same soon. DS saw me upset when I came off phone and wanted to call him and disown him lol- bless. THen I feel guilty when they know what a sh*t he is. Am down tonight as my life would be vastly different if he would just 'man up' and do what he should do. I'll be fine tomorrow

Need to counteract those horrible negative posts with a positive one. I climbed 3 flights of stairs 3 times today. Had to go to loo on 2nd floor 3rd time just to break the climb lol. I'm determined that the 5 weeks I am training then I will take stairs unless I am carrying something heavy5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

:rotfl:@ KP ty. Am much better today. I'm always the same. I get down but can usually pick myself up again the next day.
Spends today = £6 lunches and 50p for a sweet for me.:o. I cannot believe how much a chocolate bar costs. I would normally just lift what I fancied without looking but because I am being so careful I actually looked and nearly fainted. Definitely put me off buying. I am glad tho as I need to think about my weight too.
No other spends so that is good.
I called ARGOS as the payment I had made last month was not put towards the only part of my debt that was interest bearing at the minute. Girl said that I should have waited until statement was in before making payment but I am too impatient. She changed the payments over so that means no interest to pay this month. I then went online and paid £27.08 :j. I still have £70.80 to pay to make my target this month and I will do my damndest to get it. If I want to keep going with the 100 day challenge then I need to pay £90 by end of month :rotfl:. THink I may be making that up next month :rotfl:. My ex boss has told me I have some extra money coming that he forgot to put through for me so that is great. I have dd's provisional to pay for at end of month ( part of CHristmas pressies) and if I fail this challenge made by me then I will catch up then
. I am all happy now that I have a plan
