  • Good to hear you had a good night out . hoping you are fast asleep and feeling better now xx

  • Still awake unfortunately. 1 hours sleep since 6.45am yesterday :(. Still uncomfortable but have taken pain killers and going to try a hot water bottle for pain. Been scared to eat today so have had a very bland diet all day so that I would not exacerbate things even more. Feel like a crabbit moo but I hate being sick and feel as if I have been ill all week :(.

Anyway enough moaning from me. I spent £24.56 in ASDA today for weekly shop. Got 3 small crusty bread, bag of 4 rolls, 12 hot cross buns and a granary loaf for the grand total of 14p. 2p for each item. I was well chuffed:D:money:. FReezer is full of bread products so we will not starve lol. I love love love hot cross buns so I really need to freeze them or I will just munch my way through them. I had £11 in coppers so I used the coin star machine for that so in real terms I only spent just over £13.50 so that's not too bad. We will eat this week :rotfl:. Been invited to a 50th next week. Really good friends birthday so I have to go. I have no clue what to get him for a pressie but will ask his wife. They will totally understand that it will be nothing big and expensive so a tenner should cover it. One of my other best friends and her hubby will be going and also my brother and sister in law. Should be a good night :D. SO we may not eat next week lol. I promised myself a social life this year but jeezo it is expensive. Was nearly a tenner per round last night for 3 of us and the other 2 were pure alkies :rotfl:

Didnt spend any other money today so that is good.
Cant spend any all week now other than lunches. I have money for MOnday's lunch then will need to use child benefit on Tuesday for rest of week's. Put away my £6.05 today too but no more money to do it again. I wish to hell the maintenance money would get a move on. It was allegedly requested on 14th DEcember . Starting to think I am being told porky pies by CSA:mad:.

  • good morning. I need to clean, clean ,clean today unfortunately. House is like a midden. I also have a uge ironing and I want to start getting some stuff onto e-bay and clear some clutter from my life. ( and make some money :D).

LOst 2lbs this week. Not brilliant but it is a start. Starting training on Monday so will try and use this 4 weeks to make a difference. My training is on the 3rd floor so I am going to make the effort and walk up the stairs rather than get the lift and see if that helps in any way.

I shouldn't have any spends today as I do not intend going out of the door. Happy SUnday everyone xx

  • Right, Lounge cleaned, kitchen nearly cleaned, stew in oven, 2 loads washing done. Just going to finish kitchen and mop downstairs then start on the upstairs. KIds are at their dads so I am getting peace and quiet. No-one moaning about my choice of music ;). I'm usually getting told to get that old fogey stuff off.

Signature updated. Cant wait to get under the £17k for cc's and car. Car goes down quite quickly as payments were front loaded with interest. Same with my bank loan so I will see quick results with those. Also Argos on 0% just now so that should help. It motivates you if the results are good I think. After argos goes though the figures will be slower as the interest is just silly. I really wish I had committed myself to clearing all this 3 and half years ago when I joined this site. I actually have more debt now . Never mind. THis time I will do it. MIght die trying lol but I will get there. Ok am away to finish downstairs as I am cleaner extraordinaire today :rotfl:

  • :jall downstairs suitably shiny:D. KIds shouted at to et their rooms cleaned. DS on a plug ban until he does what he is told. X-box, telly etc in a box in the hall until he sorts his room out. He bought a remote control helicopter with vouchers and money he had at Christmas and he has broken a bit off of the remote control already. He hasn't even been able to play with it yet as it is too wet and windy and cant be used inside . I am furious at him and he better mend his ways quick smart as I refuse to let him live like this any longer. My mum gave me £1000 in October and I spent it on doing up both kids' rooms and he has just trashed his again. I bought him a new desk for his birthday on 10th of December and I haven't been able to build it up due to the mess on his floor. Well that's it. The worm is turning and I am not having it :mad::mad:. I could have spent that money on a holiday or something or paid it off of a debt. Maybe not though cos my mum doesn't know I have any debt and I felt the need to tell her what I was doing with the money. Jeezo I love my son to pieces but he drives me crazy sometimes. Any tips anyone ?

well done on the cleaning fancy doing mine? lol Thats my plan for tomorrow afternoon!

As for son aint got a clue my 3 yr old neice and 1 yr old nephews are a hand full - my neice has just had her room done up so havent seen the impact of a messy room yet but think the plug ban is good! I was watching a video on youtube the other day (diet related though but could work here too) the fella had to "buy" his tv time - so for every hour he did at the gym he rewarded himself an hour of tv in the evening. Maybe you could tell your son for every xxx minutes tidying he's allowed xxx minutes on the xbox?

Hope you get it sorted :D and well done again on the weight loss :D

  • Wee I dont fancy doing my own cleaning never mind anyone else's :rotfl:. JUst about to go and inspect DS's room as he swears its done. I very very much doubt it to be honest. You'll no doubt hear me screeching wherever you are.

Just had an amazing dinner. Was lush. Stew, puff pastry and potatoes and veg. Fed 3 of us tonight, I have a tub for my mum and another larger one that will do ds and I another night. Result !!

We set up the kinect as dd and I had bought the shape up game for it and I want us to start it tomorrow. DD is nice and slim but both her dad and I are overweight so I really want to get both kids into doing some exercise. THe first target we were set was to burn 100 calories. I got to 65 lol. I'll do 100 tomorrow. I promise :p

  • Burning calories is harder than you think especially as they are so easy to gain!! Similar day for me. Cleaned and tidied flat even had DD1 hovering and wiping the kitchen floor :amazed smiley here:.

Watched fat families so walked kids back home at quick pace instead on just leaving DD1 incharge. Thats 10 mins excecise more than usual.

Dinner sounded loverly MIT - Forget your cleaning skills I want you as a chef!

you will get to 100 calories no problem Im sure!! I did 1,000 calorie burn on the cross trainer in the gym today and it actually went back to zero to start counting again!! Aiming for 1,500 calories tomorrow so keeping going and hopefully we will both get there!!
