It's slightly Freaky- I thought I'd pop over and say hi as you've been kind enough to say hello on my diary- turns out we're the same age, I need to lose 27lbs (nearly the same as you) and my OH is currently cooking corned beef hash for tea tonight.... (which I have to say is not quite as appetising as our usual Friday takeaway but much more MSE). I'm sitting here with a red wine
I just hope my DFD can be as soon as yours....!
Looks like you've made a great start despite some "issues" which aren't helping (ex-OH!)- keep it up I'm sure you will get there.Debts at LBW Jan 11 CCs TOTAL 41,300

Kp please excuse interruption here, but so glad you got sorted on other thread. I do hope things are ok and that you will stay with us when you can. I do think you had a very valid point and if I'd been in tyour shoes, I would have felt exactly the same. It was.nt you that created'the elephant' if that makes sense.
Best regards

Hi folks. Gosh I am whacked tonight. Well THe Harrys my corned beef hash was yummy. A wee bit of grated cheese on top and son and I scoffed the lot with some sweetcorn. I have more than 25 lbs to lose I'm afraid, I have set this interim target for myself to run alongside the 100 day challenge. Well it's a start :rotfl:.
Was delighted today to get the £60. Can't believe how happy I was to see it. Saddo. I mean its only £60 hardly a fortune. BUt hey I used it well. I put £20 petrol in car instead of £15. I spent £32 in Morrisons instead of the £22 I planned BUT I bought loads of yogurts and fruit. SHould do me all week. I owe my friend £7 towards a bottle of whiskey for a gift and I paid £30 to Argos. ONly £530 to go  by 19th April:eek:. Definitely a challenge for me. I have until JUne before interest kicks in but to manage argos and sony this year then I need to do it this way. I got a letter in from Barclaycard today telling me they have raised my limit by £1000. Will need to have a look at interest rates etc and see if I can do a balance transfer and save myself some money. I have kept the other £15 to cut myself some slack as I can then use it for lunch money next week and have promised DS his pocket money weekly rather than monthly if he keeps his room tidy. So I have £40 to pay the £7 to mate, go to a party, kids lunches for week and DS's pocket money. I might just manage it :rotfl:. If I get a good week then I can maybe find the £40 next week so I can reach my target for this month. I will be ecstatic if I manage that as it has been a 5 week month. I will have spent £108 on school lunches:eek: which is a huge chunk out of my £350 shopping budget. I still have £28 left to buy some food next week. Again if I manage a 5 week month on £350 including lunches then I will be ecstatic too. I hope I am ecstatic :rotfl:. Rambled a bit but it clears my head x
