  • Hi weeclick, it certainly is. Day 3 of training course and I am exhausted. Very tiring concentrating all the time. LOvely short days though. 9.30- 3.30 with an hour for lunch :D:D:D. Certainly not my normal day, that's for sure.

Went to docs tonight re pain in my stomach. Going for a scan and to get some bloods done. Hopefully this will uncover what is wrong with me. I can feel a niggle in my back just now so am worried that the pain is going to start again tonight. Getting liver checked as that is where pain is most prevalent. Need to google that and see whether it could be my liver. I hardly ever drink but when she asked me about drinking I was made to feel like an alky :rotfl:, which I most certainly am not. Bought shepherds pie today in canteen and it was very gloopy which makes me think it was probably mega fatty. I have walked up the stairs every time in my work all week. Up to the 3rd floor is approx 80 stairs. I can hardly breathe by the time I get to the top. I am sure I will get better though.

Spends today are £10 for 3 of us for lunches  and 69p for paracetamol. Am annoyed at myself about £4 for my lunch as there was no need for that at all. I had taken lunch in with me. I just didnt fancy spaghetti and toast but would have been better than the canteen food. WIll I never learn ? I have made a big dish of tuna pasts for tomorrow so I will enjoy that. No money yet from CSA so I will continue to wait for it.

Hope every one is well xx

hi MIT. I did the same thing yesterday - took an unappetising peanut butter sandwich in to work for my lunch, then went out and spent £3.50 on a salad. So annoyed with myself.

Well done on keeping up with your targets. I am furious with your ex too - lucky your kids have got such a great mum.

Well done on climbing the stairs, soon it will be easy!

  • TY Sea. Love that comment re furious at my ex lol. I'm over it again for another wee while. It'll be his loss in the long run. He has no kids with his new partner just 5 designer cats :p. Maybe they'll look after him in his old age :rotfl:.

Been looking on here at symptoms I have had and really shouldn't have . Doc said she wants to check my liver function etc as I said and tbh I didnt really think much of it BUT for a while now I have been getting an unbearable itch on my skin. When it starts it is all over from head to foot and drives me crazy. WHen I scratch I come up in huge weals and it looks terrible. I take an anti- histamine almost daily for this. I had already had it in my head to speak to the doc about this and when I mentioned it she raised her eyebrows and changed from 'I'll see you in 2 weeks if not better' to ' ok then we'll get bloods and scan done' complete about turn. I have read on internet tonight about fatty liver disease ( she said she wanted to check if there were any fatty changes in my liver!!) which has a symptom of itchy skin . Not good and I am a wee bit concerned now. Main people who get it are drinkers ( I'm not much of a drinker) or obese people ( which I have been for a long time). So defo need to continue with the healthy eating and exercise. In fact I need to really up the ante with it and totally change. I will have everything crossed the next few weeks that it is not that but I have a horrible feeling it might be. B*gger

Oh gosh what a big worry, you must never google symptoms!! It's good that you will get tests quickly anyway, which I hope will put your mind at rest, but if you do have anything more serious it will get picked up quickly and it's better to know the worst than drive yourself barmy worrying.

  • SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!]
I have written my post twice and lost it
Was saying I am turning into the type of person I cant stand, a wee moaning minnie. It stops now. I'm going to treat this as another sign to sort myself out once and for all. I am doing the 100 day challenge so alongside that I am going to challenge myself to lose 25lbs in weight by 19th April as that is when challenge ends. This is about 13 weeks so that is perfectly do-able. I already started a wee bit a week ago so I will continue from now and weigh myself on Sundays. Sorted !! lol

  • Evening all. Knackered tonight. Was a long day today.

Money wise all I spent was £6 on lunches for kids so :D. I have £70 to do me this week . Need to put a tenner towards a present for party on Saturday night but will not be drinking so will get away with about a fiver on the night. So £15 for my social life. Need lunch money for 3 days for kids , until I get child benefit on Tuesday, so that's another £18. Need at least £15 in petrol. THat's £48. THis leaves me £22 to fed us :rotfl:. I'm not sure if I have any miracles in me this week:rotfl:. I will have a go though. Will need to do a list and stick to it like glue. I'll go and look at what I have in that I can use and then do a meal plan. I really need some fruit, veg and yogurts though. Also need cereal and pasta. THat'll be the £22 gone practically. OH well. KIds are moaning already that there is nothing ( i.e. nibbles) in the house. Wait until the end of next week lol. Ok am away to see what I have in fridge/freezer/cupboards etc.
