Sounds like life is being a little kinder to you right now, a pleasant turn of events after lasts weeks worry with the car.
I'm so impressed with your exercise regime...I wish I could work up some enthusiasm to shift my backside into gear....maybe reading your thread will shame me into taking action!

  • hi jellybean. Nice to hear from you.

May I feel great when I have exercised. I get all energised.

Well my day could have been quieter :rotfl:but hey ho I am employed so will not complain. Pay day next week and I am getting through the month again so I am very happy about that.

I am £1.52 over on my grocery challenge so far but I don't think I need to buy anything until the weekend. I will definitely need some things then though as the cupboards are getting a bit bare.

Hopefully my car will be ready tomorrow as I'm not overly keen on the hire car. I like my wee peugeot :D.

No spends today other that the kids lunch so again I am pleased.

Went to the funeral today. It was really sad. The woman was only 53 and just dropped dead. Her family are just devastated. Such a shame and quite scary tbh as she was only 7 yrs older than me . I intend to live to 100 mind you . I hope i'm debt free by then :rotfl:

  • :j:j:j:D:D:D 9lbs off this week. Get in there:D. I am well chuffed with that. So worth all the effort and exercise I have put in.

Nice busy day today again but feel much more in control at work as actually managed to get some stuff done. My colleague came back today and was told by her team that I had shouted at them and given them a really hard time the other day. OOPS :o . Never mind, the productivity has flown through the roof since so all is well :D.

Spent £14.39 in ASDA tonight as I needed fruit, veg, milk and a box of cereal. I'm just going to buy exactly what I need over the weekend as I am going to be a bit skint.

Car is ready so I will go and collect it in the morning when the garage opens. I'll make sure it is okay and then return the hire car. Not that keen on it anyway.

Not much more to report other than a woman I haven't seen much in the last few months didn't recognise me today as I have lost so much weight :j. That's 3 stones and 5lbs off now.

  • i went to bank and closed the joint account we had and opened my own. Tell her to just make an appointment with them. I was really worried about ex getting debt through that account as he used to sign my name on cheques so he could get cash.

  • HI MIL and everyone!

Just popping in while on holiday...

Glad things are looking up, and so pleased your car is sorted. thats a load off your mind I bet.

My car broke again the other day, was fixed quickly but so annoying...
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Evening all :D

One very pongy woman sitting here but am too sore to head for the shower. Just been to Kettlercise. Exercise class using the kettle beel things they use on the biggest loser. 1500 calories burned off in 1 session apparently. Was great fun but OMG it was a challenge. I had to sit out of a couple of exercises as my arms just couldn't take any more :o. Huge respect to these guys on the biggest loser who use the huge kettle bells as mine was only 4kg and felt like a tonne by the end. Never mind I will be fab and fifty if it kills me :rotfl:. The class was full of all these young uns and I managed just as well as they did. In fact one of them gave up half way through and bailed out. I stayed till the end :p. Definitely going back next week as I quite enjoyed it and I am sure I will be fine in a few weeks.

Not spent anything today other than school costs. Stopped work early as I was taking my mum for a new hearing aid as she is as deaf as a post. They fitted a aid in each ear and it is like a miracle for her.She can hear everything that is going on now :D, This will make a huge difference to her as I think she misses out on loads as she can't hear.

Hire car has gone back and I have my own lovely wee car back. I am well pleased as it is all fixed and they even fixed my headlight for me so that's fab as the darker nights will be coming in soon and I will be needing them again. Busy, busy day but all in all a good one :D. I hope you have all had a good one too .

  • Hi KP wonderful to see you. My positivity has ebbed and flowed ;). Hopefully more on than off. I have just pledged on facebook that I am never going to put weight on again as I am sure the effort of staying slim will be much less than the effort of getting this weight off. I was at boxercise tonight and have had to take ibuprofen as I am an old duffer and the muscles and bones are creaking . I will get slim, I will get slim, I will get slim.

£50 in my account from CSA so I am happy to get that. I have an £83.98 bill for Argos to pay for the lawnmower I bought, I have £35 to pay to Tesco to keep up with my 100 day challenge. I have £103 in the bank and £40 in cash. BUT I need petrol , £15 and food approx £40. So the sums are not adding up. Oh and also ds's phone bill of £10. Hmm. Ok decisions to make. Oh and also school lunches of £30 :rotfl:. Even worse. So I am not going to pay the £35 to tesco until I get paid on Wednesday and get Argos paid off as I will accrue interest on that so that's not on. I have enough interest being charged to me already without adding any more. So that's the plan. I will go and pay Argos right now so I can't change my mind. Ok done. I have the £120 in my savings account for paying off my overdraft if there is an emergency so I am not too worried.

I'll get £15 of petrol tomorrow and hopefully that will do me until Tuesday until I get some child benefit. Oh juggle, juggle, juggle again. I love juggling :D

  • Nice busy day here today. Keeps me out of mischief :D. Worked at 2nd job this morning. Took my mum out and did some shopping this afternoon so we are relatively well stocked up until the end of the week when I will get a huge shop in.

Came in last night from gym and my kitchen floor was wet . Fridge was leaking all over it. DS had decided to get some ice out of the ice box so had got some out of it to throw down DD's top. She was delighted as I am sure you will gather. Silly me I didn't ask him how he had managed to get the ice out. BIG MISTAKE on my part. Came downstairs this mornig to a soaking wet kitchen and a dripping fridge. The little sh*t had turned the dial on the fridge to off and it was defrosting away. If it had been full I reckon I would have swung for him but luckily as the door had been closed the little that was in it was fine. This boy is nearly 14  I despair. So I dragged him from his bed this morning and made him gut the kitchen and clear up all the mess. I also made him gut his room much to his disgust:cool:. Hopefully he will think twice before being such a prat and I now have a nice clean kitchen and his room is 100% improved :rotfl:.

Spent £36 in Morrisons. I had to laugh at my mum as she shops fortnightly and she calls it her BIG shop. This was what we were doing today and I was only picking up the basics to do me until next weekend. i.e the absolute minimum and we spent the same :rotfl:. It just shows the difference in our lives. what is expensive for her is a delight to me :D.

Sitting watching sex in the city movie and enjoying it just as much second time around :D
