  • ok more thoughts from me. As you know my ex is going to have to pay me more maintenance. Now judging by the way he is throwing money around I reckon he is on a pretty decent wage so looking at the CSA rules and guessing at a salary close to mine I would beentiteld to approximately £70 per week :eek:. OMG that would be amazing. If I could continue to pay £30 per week from my cleaning job and then half of CSA per week then my dfd would be Feb 2013 in 18 months instead of 29 months :eek:. OMG that would also be amazing. I twould also mean an additional £45 per week into the coffers. I know I could use this too to pay off debt, and no doubt sometimes I will, but we need some slack. Things will change next June mind you when DD leaves school as Child Benefit will stop for her and also the tax credits for her but I will deal with that then. This is all very exciting to be honest and I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. :j
5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
    Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00

  • Hi Jelly Bean it will be if it comes to anything. No decisions as yet and even when there is a decision he may still not pay. I've been here before. Last time I got an award @ £70 per week he jacked his job in. So suffice to say I am not holding my breath :rotfl:

  • Just back from 20-20-20 class at gym and I am one sweaty biatch :rotfl:. 20 nins cardio, 20 mins aerobics and 20 mins step. I managed the majority of it so I am quite pleased. I ache all over though but I am thinking of the next 9 weeks as a 'biggest loser' type journey and I am going to try and do as much as I can and see how well I can do witht he weight loss. Eating toast and banana just now as I was starving when I came back. Spent 65p on juice as I couldn't find my water bottle.

Going up to Glasgow later to see the set of world war z and might spy Brad Pitt and angelina. Kids are desperate to see it so I said we would go up this evening when it is hopefully a bit quieter.

Going to get some washing done now and the rest of the house cleaned. Kids are doing the kitchen just now. I have food out to make stewed sausages and a shepherds pie so that will do tonight and tomorrow night's dinner. I am determined to be organised this week as it makes life so much easier.

    I'll be back later xx

Glad things are looking up, you sound really positive and hopefully everything will go according to plan :)
  • pressed a button and whole post disappeared. Dont even know how I did it :rotfl:.

Anyways. Garage have been and it is definitely my alternator. Will cost approx £150 which is a lot less than my imagination has been telling me :o. So I am happy enough with that. I have decided to just use the money I have in bank to pay it as if I ask my mum for money she will insist on paying for it and I feel as if she constantly bails me out. it just means that the extra money I had from car repayments will take another month to kick in. I have to expect this type of setback over a long period so I am stopping being a grouch about it.

Nonnie I am much more positive now. I rarely stay down for long. Life is too short and I am lucky to have a positive attitude to life so although things p*ss me off I give myself a good talking to and quickly come round again

  • Well Glasgow is one exciting place tonight. Just watched scenes for Brad Pitt film world war Z being filmed. Big crash scene with a bus or truck overturned, folks running about screaming their heads off, crashed cars with dead bodies. Smoke , fire the lot. Such a shame I won't see the film as I hate zombies :rotfl:. Ver y exciting though. Unfortunately my son was being a brat and our visit was cut short. I put his gas at a peep when we got home though as he got sent staraight to the shower and then his bed with no supper, I was so annoyed at him. Didn't see Brad either :(

Put a tenner of petrol in the car and looks like it has just about gone. This hire car is an automatic and quite the petrol guzzler. Never mind it is short term.

  • :j:jmy mum has just called me and told me she is paying for my car repairs :j:j. Apparently she paid money for my brothers car earlier in the year so it's my turn. I am well happy about that as it means I dont need to use my overdraft money ( wee cartwheel smiley here).

Went to boxercise tonight. I am whacked as it was a bit of a day in work. We missed our target last month when I was off so when I got back to work I let everyone know where they are sitting as far as the targets are concerned for this month. Well they got all precious about it . The girl who used to manage them was a woos and would do the work for them rather that let them know what was required to sort it out but I am too busy to do that. Now normally I am very easy going but today I told it as it was and they didn't like it one bit. I dont give a damn and they better get their act together by end of this month because if we miss this target again then I will lose my rag. It's not that difficult to achieve. It is stretching but we have done it before so no excuses . Took my stress out in my class tonight :rotfl:. That's 3 classes in 4 days I have done so I am really pleased and I am starting to feel fitter already.

Going to a funeral tomorrow. The lad on my sections mother who died last week. Not looking forward to that.

Otherwise life is good and I am doing okay. Hope everyome else is xx
