  • :rotfl:Evening. Am off to see Bridesmaids soon with my friends. DD got £40 from her dad today for her exam results . Shocker. That's twice this month he has given her money. Twice this year lol. Actually twice this decade other than birthdays or Christmas. Tonight she is treating us all to chinese.

Just ate it nom nom:D. It was diet chinese obvi :o. No calories written on it so no calories in it I reckon

Came into house at 6 and DS was drying dishes . He then went upstairs as he had a sore head, yeah right . I got him straight back down after he logged out of x-box live and made him lie on the couch until his head got better. Wouldn't let him talk or anything and was uber nice to him but made him lie quietly until he felt better enough to do the dishes and run the hoover around :D. Funnily enough after 5 minutes he felt grand and now hoovering is done and dishes are being put away as I type :rotfl:. He has just apologised :rotfl:. I can play that boy like a fiddle and he isn't quite savvy enough yet to suss that that is what I am doing :rotfl:.

I paid £35 to Tesco today so I have reckoned on £5 per day to pay off my £500 so that's the first week sorted out :j. I hope I can keep it up. Catch you all later xx

I am just back from pics to see bridesmaids and I swear I nearly peed myself laughing. It is the funniest film I have seen since my first viewing of Bridget Jones :rotfl:. If anyone has been to see it all I can say is the scene in the bridal shop loo almost ended me :rotfl:. All for the princely sum of £3.90 and £2.10 for ben and Jerrys. Yum. Fat git day again today :D

  • Your son sounds a right card!! Bless, what a funny package!

I bet bridesmaids is fabulous. Glad you had a good night, and ben and jerrys, has to be done!

  • Ben and Jerry's is mandatory :D. So glad I had it as that'll be my last treat for a while.

Spent loads today but most of it is good. £7.25 in work on food and juice :o:eek:which is awful. I know I keep saying no more canteen but then I get lazy on it and look what it costs me  and as per usual it wasn't even nice.

I went to local leisure centre tonight with DS for his Tae Kwon Do. When I went in there was a group meeting in one of the rooms that looked like aa slimming club. I just though woohoo :jthat would be fab as it meant I could go whilst DS in class and kill 2 birds with one stone. Turns it it is an initiative called 'shape up'. £50 for 10 weeks ( same as a slimming club) They weigh you, do your BMI, and give you diet advice. I have put on 7lbs since I was last weighed :o. BUT the fabulous thing is that you get unlimited access to as many exercise classes as you want to attend, unlimited access to swimming and unlimited acces to the gym :j. I have booked 1 class so far and have another 3 to call in tomorrow :D. I'm not so keen on the gym or swimming but I love the classes so this is great. I want to lose another 2 stones by Christmas. That should be well doable. I am all motivated again :D

  • That sounds ideal, hope you enjoy it. Nice to be all in it together and working for a common goal. x

Our canteen is like that. A twix is 65p and in h*me B*rgains its 1.80 for 7.

I stock up now and have a drawer c*dburys would be proud of.

However some days, I am drawn in there by the smell of badly cooked bacon and oven chips, and purchase something nondescript for an inflated price.

    Lunacy.
