    May 2013 new beginnings:j
  • What a big decision for your friend, hopefully they can keep everything amicable as it is so much easier to be and deal with rather than fighting it out.

When we moved house we lived in our caravan for 5 weeks. It was good fun but we did know that we had a house to move into that was just in the process of going through. There was me, OH, DD and our lab. It was cozy to say the least. Now our caravan is just for social purposes we love it!

French  Just the thought of exams scares me, at least it is done now :T Cant change it now :D
    Just keep swimming!
  • :eek:Maths for her today . My idea of hell :rotfl:.

KP I am intending doing some hill walking with DS on Sunday with said hangover  God help me. He has been trying to talk me into it for weeks and I have relented. I'm praying for rain tbh :rotfl:

My friend is hopeful everything will be amicable but these things rarely are. There are 7 of us in this particular group and 5 of us have now split with husbands :rotfl:. Not got a very good track record !!

Been checking my grocery budget and have spent £220.73 already. This leaves me with £79.29 for next 2 weekends :p. Oh well I do love a challenge

  • £122 so far this month on petrol :eek: What the H*ll is that about ??? My petrol bill is usually about £110 per month but will be much much more this month. There are 2 reasons for this. 1 is my part time job as I have to drive about 20 miles return to get to it and also my ds going to Tae Kwon do as that is about 20 mile round trip too. So at least 60 miles per week extra being driven. Wowsa!!

Great news now though..........Drum Roll ................I reached 3 stones off today :j:j. I am so chuffed. 5 weeks until wedding so I hope I can manage another 1 by then. I can feel bones I had forgotten about :rotfl:I have collar bones, hip bones and knees :rotfl:. Earned £40 today so that will more or less pay for Saturday night. Such a shame that I have managed to get extra money in this month but have not managed to use any of it to pay off any debt. Very annoying. At least I will get through to the end of the month.

  • well hello. Busy, busy weekend but had lots of fun. Was doing part time job Thurs, Sat and today so earned £105 :j. Only problem is that I had to use it for my night out on Saturday night and for some shopping. I have £40 left but my god- daughter's birthday is this week and I need to get a gift tomorrow and I will need petrol again . Never mind. At least it will all be paid for. DD is going to her dance in a couple of weeks. My kids' school do not hold dances until 5th and 6th year so it is a big deal. She has chosen a gorgeous dress and it is £65 so I have said I would pay half for her. Would love to just hand her £200 and pay for everything inc. shoes, hair, tan etc but no can do. I'll maybe manage next year for her leavers dance. DS got loads of clothes the other day from a friend's son. He is into sports wear so the things are great. DS will wear anything as he just doesn't care yet. Wait until he discovers the lassies and then god help me :rotfl:. He might even have a shower without me screeching at him :rotfl:.

I had a great night on Saturday with my friend who is getting married. Spent nearly £50 mind you but I knew it would be an expensive one. I stupidly ate a starter that had cream in it and I have a major intolerance to cream. I end up in agony as my stomach swells up and it takes me at least 24 hours to feel any better. I was puking and everything. Iknow that this will happen but have no idea why I ended up ordering a cream starter Duh!!I must have been caught in the moment :rotfl:. Never again as I am still aching today as it is still working its way out of my system.

I hope everyone is good xx

  • :j off work until Tuesday. You cant beat a nice long weekend to cheer you up. Did my part time job today so the rest of the weekend is free :D. In saying that I need to attend to my mother every day as my brother is away on holiday so I need to get her dinner etc every day instead of every second day.

I got free tickets, thanks to the lovely Martin , for the Home Show on Monday so myself, Mum and my kids will all be trotting off to that for the day.

I only have £7.03 left from my shopping budget . Look slike I ain't going to make that one :rotfl:. Never mind it has been 5 weekends for me this month so I am not overly bothered. I spent £24 in local butchers today so I have a good few meals from that, and quality food into the bargain. I will do a list tomorrow and go to ASDA for the rest of my shopping as it is a bit like mother hubbards cupboard in here at the minute. Another £30 of petrol in the car again today .

Need to go feed my mother and then head to the weight watchers so I will hopefully get a good catch up on here over the next few days xx

  • :janother wee pound off this week. That's 21 since I joined weight watchers and 3 stones all in :j. Bl**dy delighted. Was nervous going tonight as had a massive night out on Saturday and ate and drank loads but it's all good.

I was a naughty girl today and told lies :o:o. I got an e-mail from Willian Hill ( I opened account to pay free bingo) saying that I was to pay £3 per month for an unused account if I didn't reactivate it before Tuesday. I contacted them through online chat and told them I had a gambling problem and was attending Gamblers Anonymous so they would close the account down, which they did and sent me lots of lovely literature on gambling lol. Oh well I'm sure I can be forgiven for that one :rotfl:.

House is relatively tidy so tomorrow when I get up I am going to start at the top and work my way down until whole place is shining. I will then be doing lots of this :D. I love a clean house, but rarely manage it :rotfl:.

It was only a little fib - but a very funny one, loved it!!

I also love a really clean and tidy house (also rare) but I'm doing not much this weekend as we are collecting our new wee kittens tomorrow and I can't wait to play with them - if I can get to them past DH(who swears he is not excited, yeah right!) DS and DD!!

Advantage - should be a debt free weekend as no-one wants to go out and leave the kittens - bonus!

Your doing really well with your weight loss and I'm sure the other stone will be off soon x

    Have a good weekend x

:( Back above £19k. Put a dress for my DD onto my card @ £70 and added on this month's interest. Annoyed.com. I have paid off £20 from dress and hopefully pay the rest tomorrow but still annoying seeing it go over :(:(. Never mind!!

£97.50 to get that DD owes me tomorrow. £12 needs to go into my account to cover a bill which leaves me £85. If I pay the other £49 offof dress then I will only be left with £36.50 to do the rest of my shopping and keep us going over the weekend. I'll see how it goes as I dont want us to be miserable with no cash at all. In saying that we will not really need any as Friday I have no plans other than shopping/banking . Saturday I am taking my mum shopping but shouldn't need to spend anything myself, Sunday my mum is taking us all out to dinner so no money needed there and on Monday I have tickets for the Home Show in Glasgow ( free thanks to Martin :D) so no money then either as I will take a packed lunch with us. I'll report back :rotfl:.

BTW if I pay the £49 I will be in the £18's again so I really should make a huge effort on that one.
