  • :rotfl:best laid plans and all that. I have done nothing. I've watched come dine with me all afternoon :rotfl:Starving now!!.

Kids are at their dad's ( I use the term dad loosely :rotfl:) and I have had perfect peace. I did clean the oven and my washing lines are full of lovely flapping washing. Rest of the house was acceptable so I have just taken complete advantage of the quiet and loved chilling. Been a looooooooooooooong time since I have able to just sit and do nothing :D.

  • :D Just had a very yummy dinner. Made jersey royal potatoes in their jackets, salad, egg mayo and cold meat, then had mashed up meringue nests with chopped banana and toffee muller light ............NOM!! Am stuffed and all good for me :D.

Was going to try for a NSD today but have decided to take DS to the pictures to see Thor. Looks great. No doubt I will be screeching as it is in 3D . Will cost abot £18 but I never spend money taking DS anywhere as he is such a stay at home. I can cope with spending £20 and he can buy his own goodies.

  • :j:j:jI am so happy. £71.36 paid to Argos today and that is it paid off :j:j:j. I have paid this well in advance of the interest kicking in in June. £365.73 to pay by 3rd August to make amends for the amount I put on my credit card this year and I will be thrilled to bits. This is the target I set myself for the 100 day challenge. Strange how excited you get when the figures are good.

No other spends today and no intention of spending anything either. Got £65 from wee job I am doing today hence the money paid off of Argos. Did I mention how pleased I am?? :D.

Going to make chilli for dinner. It is a bit hot for that but hey ho thats what I have defrosting. Just about caught up with all the washing but still have loads of ironing to do. Did loads last night but mega amounts to clear. DD does her own but I don't trust DS yet.

Well done thats fantastic news about Argos, im sure it will spur you on to your next target you will have this debt busted in no time at this rate.
    MARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035
EST DFD JAN 2021 (that needs to change)
NOW JAN 2019 (that still needs to change)
  • I am busting my a$$ here guys to get rid of thisas I am so fed up with it. I've managed to pay off loads in the first quarter of the year considering my income and I am well chuffed :D:D.

Next target is Tesco £1774.24 @ 19.2%. Snowball says next June for it to be paid off but I am going to have a go at getting rid of it this year . Might not be doable but I will have a damned good bash at it :D. Would need to overpay by about £207 per month but come October this should be really easy as car will be fully paid off :D which releases £160 per month. If my part time work continues then that is a definite £25 per week and sometimes more. Should still get some maintenance as there is still a recovery order on ex of £20 per week for arrears and there's the new sum of £5 per week as well :rotfl:that'll make a difference as well :rotfl:. Oh well it all helps.

Going to try and get a short break for kids and I as well in July. I want to go to London with friends and let the kids see all the sights. They will save their own money and my mum is paying for the holiday but I will need food money and some spends for me. I reckon I'd need about £500  but DD will probably not want to come away with us soon so I really want a wee break this year. Lots to contemplate ;)

  • :j:j:jI'm in the 18's :D:D:D. Only by £3 mind you but I am happy,happy ,happy.

I paid MBNA off last week and they have still taken my payment out . Account is now in credit. No bloody use to me as I dont even have a card. I have been hanging on the phone for 25:44 so far for someone to arrange a refund or to see if they offer me a super duper transfer rate :p.

Going to be a tough month I reckon for me.I may have to use some of my part time earnings just to live. Never mind I will just make sure I spend an absolute minimum at all times. Ok got through eventually and money being refunded immediately. No offers on my account for a transfer though :(. Oh well it just wouldn't be so much fun getting rid of this debt if it was easy would it??
