Woohoo.....we had soms sunshine today :j:D. Very energising. Still freezing cold mind you but I can see spring in the distance
,
Went out for lunch today so that was nice and only £5.
Have done my sums and I really dont have anything left over once I pay all the bills this month. This includes haircuts for us all but no actual cash available to pay the money for the theatre tickets or to pay any extra to ARGOS. I have a night out this weekend which will cost me about £20 ( as no booze involved). Still need to get a couple of things for my mum's birthday ( about another £10) . In fact I have just counted everything up and it is not going to be easy. Mu mum gave me £50 for a tyre but I dunno if that will be enough so I will need to pay the extra. Hey ho my life would be boring without all the juggling. Thank god car passed MOT or cards would have had to be used. So there's always a positive

so do I Sea. I keep saying the same thing but what a difference even £30 a week would make to me. Oh well we'll wait and see what happens.
I broke my lent today. Really needed chocolate and wanted to test the tablet I have made for tomorrow. It's lush
.
So tablet made, outfit ready and routine perfected. Bring on the red nose madness tomorrow :rotfl:. I am looking forward to it. There are a few people in work who are being bah humbug and moaning that they will not be able to work because of the noise. Stuff em I say. Lets have some fun. It's very rare we are allowed to ao I will take full advantage
Spent too much today  but never mind. The dispute I had ongoing on e-bay has been resolved so at least I have a furhter £15 that I had written off. Heading to bed now. Have a good fun day tomorrow folks. xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

I won £20 today :j and handed it straight back
and for once was happy to do so. I won the talent comp in work :j:j. 3 of us , 2 sexy beasts and me :rotfl:. They were tall and leggy in their tights and leotards. They had fake boobs and padded ars*s. I had on flesh coloured trousers with a pair of suck me in knickers over them and a black t-shirt ( fat version of leotard). We all had on wigs and we brought the house down. My boss was at one point lying across the desk unable to even look. I think when I presented him with the fillet from my bra at the end just about finished him off. Now this is not a man known for smiling :rotfl:. Was a total hoot and I will never be allowed to forget it lol. We danced to 'all my single ladies' by Beyonce. Booty shaking, boob shaking the lot. I was terrified that no-one would laugh but had no need to worry.
Besides all that, we all got haircuts today £50 and have spent about another £20 but I dont care as it is heart breaking the h*ll that these poor folks live in. I'll make up that £20 in the future no bother.Just donated another £20 as I can' t stop crying watching this and OMG we will never be in that position in our lives. and that makes us very lucky5 Year plan. Happy Saturday folks. Going to my mum's today to take her shopping. Will get a few things for myself when I am out. Supposed to be going out tonight but tbh I can't be bothered. It's a race night to raise cash for my cousin's BB unit and I hate race nights. I hate gambling to be honest as that was how my ex husband landed us in a financial mess in the first place
. So I may bail out of the night out. I'll see. Was going to go and get a tyre today but funds are low despite my mum having given me £50 towards tyre. I will get it either during the week or next weekend when I should be able to pay cash.
Ok need to get dressed now and head out to mums. Have a good day everyone xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

evening all. Decided not to go out tonight. No spare cash and am tired. Was in my mum's for hours today and worked like a navvy between taking her shopping and doing different bits and bobs for her. Didn't get home until 7.45 and the thought of getting ready was too much. Spent £44 in Morrisons today so I was quite pleased with THAT. hAD TO BUY AN IRONING BOARD THOUGH AT £15 so that bumped up the spends a bit.
Just posted the video on facebook of my antics yesterday and comments coming fast and furious lol. Never mind. I don't embarass easily. Just as well :rotfl:. A friend tested me and said my kids would no doubt need therapy but I said they were used to me making a fool of myself and thought it was hilarious.

ha ha I'm glad I can't.
Confession time for me I'm afraid. I have added £133 to my credit card this month. For some reason this month has been an absolute b*tch of a month for me. I bought theatre tickets for my mum's birthday but didn't have the money to pay them off, I paid £55 for petrol as again I have no money and need it to get to work and my mum's. Bought an ironing board as mine collapsed and £20 to comic relief.:o. It hasn't made any difference to my DFD but I am annoyed that I had to resort to this. Never mind. Onwards and upwards. Next month should be easier as hardly any school lunches to pay as kids only in school a few days over the month. Lucky gits . Much easier and cheaper to feed them at home.
I've nearly finished my grocery budget for the month as well. I have £22.23 left to do me 10 days. Hmmm :rotfl:.
I hope you are all well and I will need to get my butt in gear and back on track both with diet and money as I have slipped on both counts :mad:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

At least you know exactly what you had to use it for (al sounds pretty unavoidable to me) - pre-LBM my CC bill would be a complete surprise!
£22.23 for groceries sounds just about do-able- especially if you're still sticking to your diet- or time for a store cupboard challenge maybe?Debts at LBW Jan 11 CCs TOTAL 41,300

Diet is slightly out the window just now
. Am down to £18.33 for shopping :rotfl:. Am in a bit of a spiral at the minute and not sure how to stop it as of yet. Lots of changes in my life and I reckon I have lost control a wee bit. Everything should settle soon..
Just started a new job a couple of weeks ago ( same place, different department) and really into it now. My last post I knew inside out and everyone came to me for advice and now I am the new person ( big adjustment). Also the folks on this team expect lots from me as I am a very supportive manager ( too much sometimes I reckon) and the one they have is not so loads of pressure to make change!! Difficult to find the balance as I am trying to reassure them that change will come and they will get support when required but also I am trying to assure the other manager that I am not there to steal their thunder etc etc.
My son has decided to change his surname. I reverted to my maiden name when I separated as I couldn't stand being known as ex's wife any more ( a bit knee jerk tbh) . I didn't change the kids names as I reckoned they should keep the name they were born with. DD harped on for years that she wanted to have my name and I made her wait until she was 16. She immediately changed then. DS has been going on and on about it since she changed hers and eventually last week he broke down and said 'he didn't feel part of any family' this is because he has a different surname than me, his sis, his Gran, his uncle ( who he worships) etc etc. He also said he didn't feel part of his dad's family as 'they don't bother with him'. So I have relented. I have spoken to him at length now for a week and made him understand that this is a forever decision and today I called the school. I am now worried about the backlash from their dad as he will go mental. I will get the blame, because no matter what happens I always do. So chocolate it is to settle me down lol as I am not allowed to drink and I chucked the cigs years ago :rotfl:. Jeez I am a right grump today.5 Year plan.
