  • MSE being very irritating tonight. Have written 2 huge posts and lost them. So abbreviated version. Thought I was skint and putting shopping onto a card and got £100 in account from CSA :D. Spent £70 in supermarket and £20 on petrol. Do I regret not using it for debt?? Hell no as I was needing to buy food for a wee night at mine tomorrow and light was on in the car. Am totally delighted at not having to use cc:D:j

  • Evening folks. Been trying for ages to get on here to no avail. But here I am :D. I am shattered.com. Had about 16 friends round last night for food and drinks and the last folks left at 4.00 am :eek:. I got to bed at 4.30:eek:. Thank god I had no drinks or I would really be suffering today. Was funny as I kept saying that I would be the woman with the crabbit face sitting in the corner with a cuppa and my wee cousin brought me a beautifully wrapped parcel of.....wait for it...........40 tea bags :rotfl:. It was a fab night. Big mix of old friends, new friends and family and they all gelled beautifully. For once because I was completely sober I managed to get round everyone and have a (sensible) chat, so that was grand. I had made lots of food and my brother, who is famous for his curries had sent down some sauces so the buffet went down very well, except for the fact that I ran out of forks. So folks were waiting until others finished so they could eat their food :o. Note to self to buy forks :rotfl:. House was a shambles this morning but was back to normal within 2 hours and would have been sooner but took me an hour to do dishes as dishwasher is broken :-(. I so love socialising :D and it was really no hardship not to have any alcohol.

    Anyway to spends. £2,95 on lunch yesterday and £7 in Morrisons today. They had vileda mops for £2.99 so I had to buy one as mine is ancient and getting a bit yukky. I am shattered now mind you as I have only hada couple of hours sleep. I have been out all day with my mum and humphing the wheelchair in and out the car a few times is exhausting. I have a whole day at home tomorrow though with the kids as they are not going to their dad's this weekend so I am really looking forward to that.

  • :hello:
    Great news on the £100 and the night in. Maybe lugging the wheelchair will offset any extra calorie intake at the party lol! Hope you are catching up on your sleep KPx

  • :j:j:jI lost 8lbs this week. Can't tell you how pleased I am at that. It will be great to go back to docs a week on Monday and show I am taking this seriously.:j:j:j.

    Housework day planned today and hope to fit in a good long walk with DS. ;
    Loads of ironing to do too and house is taking on persona of laundrette again. Never mind it will be cleared hopefully by the end of the day. Going to really have a go at getting into the exercise this week and try and keep up a good weight loss average. I dont expect 8lbs a week, in fact I dont want that as it would be too quick, but I would like about 3 a week on average. I would be very happy with that.

    No plans to spend anything today. I have stewing steak and sausages out to make a stew for dinner. I will make copious vegetables with that and have a humongous dinner tonight. I am salivating already at the thought of it :D. Ok I am off to catch up for half an hour and then to work. The joys ;)

  • Well all 5 ( not 6 as I said earlier) e-bay items selling. £26 at the minute. Ending in next half hour. :D. Am pleased with that. Any money made will go into ski trip fund for DS incase he gets picked. If not then it will go into a clothes pot as we are all needing clothes and shoes. Need to borrow my mum's camera, as all ours are mysteriously broken, and photograph all the other stuff I have in my e-bay box. I might leave the cash in paypal and can then just lift it and send in with DS if and when he has to pay more money. I also have some gold to sell so will get that to local gold shop and see what I can get for it. Not much so am not expecting too much for it but every little helps.

    NSD today as I have not left the house. Also made stew for dinner and have managed to split into 3 lots so 2 freezer dinners for us.

  • Woohoo even without pics it shows money can be made. 8lb is brilliant as you said not likely to happen often but a bonus when it does.
