On that note I am off out for lunch today with my friends :D. I have just surfaced from bed so long lie was fabulous.

Need to put items on e-bay today but I dont think we have any working cameras inthis house. Hi m-i-t. Hope you can find a camera. I'm listing stuff on ebay today too, i absolutely hate it. I'm going for ten items (but secretly hoping I'll manage more). How about you?

  • Hi Sea. No camera as yet but have been out aall afternoon so am going to start hunting for a memory card for my phone in a minute. I know I have one somewhere, it's just finding the damn thing :rotfl:. I set up a mini challenge on the long haul thread to get 20 items on by end of Feb so I am hoping for that. I havent even looked out 20 yet .

Had a lovely lunch with my girls. Loads of laughs and a couple of cheeky wee wines :o. Getting all my test results tomorrow so might end up getting told no more booze ( ever ) , not that I actually drink very much, so I fitted in a couple today just incase. Spent £18 in all so not too bad. I only have £71.27 of my shopping budget left and considering I am having a wee shindig on Friday night I reckon that'll be blown out of the water. I have approx 15 women coming here lol so that'll be fab. I will still try and keep within budget but hey ho. Am also going to a race night with friends on 24th Feb so that'll be an expense as well . I have £30 in my purse but will need £24 for school lunches this week and I am £58.72 short in my account for direct debits :( b*gger!!. So a real belt tightening week this week so I can have a go at doing this. Will hopefully get a few pounds from e-bay that'll allow me to pay something towards the £38.14 I need to pay next week to keep on target for my 100 day challenge. Stressed , I'm not stressed, I always rattle :rotfl:

  •:mad::mad::mad: Not a bl**dy camera or phone in this house that I can take photographs with. Will need to wait until tomorrow when DS gets his new phone and list then. Will need to pay the fees after all .

Found a few things though that should hopefully raise a few pounds so all is good :D. Just had a nice healthy dinner of 6 cookies :rotfl:

  • I got 5 on and then wanted to kill myself T.H I was so bored :rotfl:. No pics on yet but DS got his phone delivered today so I will get them on tonight.

Got my results from Doc today and defo have a problem with my liver. I have a thing called non alcoholic fatty liver disease. Good thing though is that the liver function tests that were done are coming back normal which is indicative of no real damage done at the minute. This disease can go into cirrhosis(sp) but only if you are very unlucky and don't make the lifestyle changes that are needed. Doc has said that if I do what I am told then the fat could melt and my liver will go back to normal. So for me this means, no booze ( hardly ever drink anyway), way more exercise and a very healthy eating plan with limited fats, sugars and salts and I have to make sure that I do not go on a high protein diet such as Atkins. Nae bother . I am dreading this as I just love my food. Had a bar of chocolate today as a final treat and pasta with cheese. Tomorrow I will head to ALDI and buy loads of fruit and get started.

This is going to have an effect on my budgeting as I will have to spend more money to follow this type of regime. My budget as you know is as tight as a drum at the minute so what I have done is instead of trying to pay £710 per month from my debt I have reduced this to £550. This still means I make a small overpayment but it has added 12 months to my DFD. Bit disappointing but I need to do what is best for us in the long run and it has to be my health. Sounds dramatic lol and I don't really mean it to but, that's the way it is. I'll still pay extra when I can but I can't add additional stress to my life as I will be stressed out my box doing the healthy thing :rotfl:. Gawd help me!!

So today I spent £1.98 on chocolate for us all but that was it. I was a bit upset mood wise when I got back from docs and I always clean wehn I am upset so I did my paper work which I haven't sorted properly for about a year and filled 5 bin bags with shredding :eek:. Found some intersting documents mind you. Found my loan documents and managed to input it to the snowball properly as i had it listed as no interest. Turns out it is actually 11.3% :o. That added 1 month to DFD in itself. I found last years mortgage statement and funnily this years came in the door today, so was able to compare them. Over £1100 paid off in total this year so am pleased with that:D. I then phoned CSA as my claim has been in since June 2010 and still not resolved. Been told that it had gone to the wrong team and was now hopefully going to be reolved by 14th March. Oh well that's only 9 months. I wonder what their target is :rotfl:. It's all very well saying that I will get arrears but ex always pays them at £5 per week and only when he gets threatened with further action. So all in all a busy, albeit thought provoking day. I hope everyone else is good :)

Hi m-i-t. Sorry to hear about the fatty liver disease, that does not sound fun! Good to know that it is reversible and you can get rid of it with lifestyle changes. Good luck with that!

Commiserations about the loan interest and the CSA. These things are sent to try us... Hope all your 5 ebay items sell and that will be one good thing out of the day.
