:j:j Wish they had a somersault smiley because my ironing is done :j:j. Love it when I catch up with it. 2 loads of wash done so far mind you so it won't be long filling up again.
I am very hopeful of a no spend day today as I am only going out later to pick up dd from station. DD owes me £12.00 and owed £12.50 from ASDA which I will pick up tomorrow so that'll attend to the school lunches this week. Hopefully wont need to lift any money until Thurs or Friday. We'll see.
A day of housework today. I was going to call a friend and see if she wanted to go out but I knew I would just end up spending money and have things needing done here. So I just watched 2 episodes of silent witness on V+ and ironed and ironed and ironed. I need to put it away now. I hate doing that more than actually ironing it. I am going to make some soup now which will see me through the weekend for snacking if I need it. Hope you are all having a good day xx5 Year plan. Soup on. Potatoes peeled, cauli and green beans prepped. Nice bacon steaks to go with this for ds and I as dd will get dinner in her work
. I am starving but trying to hold off for another hour. Going to go into my under stairs cupboard and clear out the jackets and shoes whilst the soup is cooking. I know I have a good few pairs of shoes that have either never been worn or that have only had a couple of wears. I can only wear flats now due to a foot problem so I am going to get rid of any shoes etc I have as the shoes I wear are always £50+. I got the catalogue for hotter shoes and I want to get a couple of pairs fromthem but they are about £60 each. This is not a luxury that I can stop having as I just cannot walk in cheap or high heeled shoes. All down to wearing killer heels for years and completely ruining my feet . Stupid me. Never mind these hotter shoes look really cute and will be nice to wear as well.

4lbs off this week :j:j. Am well chuffed with that.
Going out for lunch today but no weigh in until next Sunday so I can have a nice lunch and not worry too much about it. I've lost 9lbs in 3 weeks and 20 lbs since November. Slowly and surely is the mantra although I really want it to fall off at the rate of a stone a week :rotfl:. I have managed more weight loss that the biggest loser contestants this weekand not a bit of exercise other than a wee walk and climbing the stairs in work.
My mum is taking us for lunch so hopefully I will have another no spend day today. We'll see as I need to go to ASDA and pick up the money they owe me. I must resist as I do not need a thing as far as shopping is concerned. Not much else on today other than more ironing later on and some housework, although that will be as little as I can get away with. Then up to my brothers at some point later with his pressie and for a wee cuppa. Have a nice day everyone xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Lovely wee afternoon with mum and the kids. Mum took us for lunch to a place called 'The House of Darroch' bit of a posh place and it was lush. I had a huge bacon burger with 'hand cut chips' no less. Then dd had a meringue and it was too big for her to eat so despite me managing not to have a pudding I ended up eating half of hers, never mind at least it was only half and I didnt eat the cream . It was yummy. There is also a wonderful shop attached to it with the most gorgeous 'stuff' in it. Really nice place all in all.
Went to ASDA to get back the money I was owed. Got it back no problem but they put it back on my card. I said that I had expected a cash refund but no it was refunded on my card. The girl then told me that it would be in my account in a few days:mad:. I then said to her that that was a right pain as I needed it for lunches and she said it might be in my account (it's not). So because one of their staff made a mistake ( easily done) I had to make a round trip of about 8 miles and then money will take a few days to get to my account. I would understand if it had been a credit card but it was adebit card that I used. I was furious and am going to complain. I then went into ARGOS as I am owed a part order form prior to Christmas. It still hasn't appeared and the girl at the tills was then trying to say that this freebie pack was not part of my purchase. I said I dont care what she thought as I had a receipt for it and I wanted it. She then could not tell me when it would be in and I was to just keep trying. So another letter of complaint will be done for that too. I hate sh*tty customer service and I have PMT lol so really hate it just now :rotfl:.
My wee mum insisted on me taking £20 for petrol as I had run her about so much recently. I told her no way but she insisted so I will use it for petrol and hopefully will not need any more now this month. I will see.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
