Darn it I know every penny counts but was hoping you at least matched the fridge find.:j0 -
Me too KP.............Gutted :rotfl:
Have gone over my food budget a wee bit £13.37. BUT it has been a 5 week month, I do have food for all week and I have £7 left so will use £6 of that for kids lunches on Monday. Then onto new budgets :rotfl:.
Spent £28.02 in ASDA and £3.94 in Morrisons. Left £2 towards tip in the restaurant today. Had sausage and mash in the hugest yorkshire pudding I have ever seen . So the diet will be knackered for this week I imagine :rotfl:. My brother had made chicken noodle soup so I scrounged a plate of that. So between mum paying for lunch for me and ds and soup from my brother I have not paid for any food today :j. Result :money:.
DD started her new job and seemed to get on really well. She had to work on for an additional half hour as it was so busy and she was just about having a heart attack as she was going to a party and it was getting later and later. She was fed at work so no cost for her food today either.
Now my turn to be having the heart attack. She left to go to a party. V nice party dress on ( short) high, high heels and looking fabulous. Had a vodka before she left lol but it was teeny ( although she thought it was a normal measure). The place she is going to holds loads of 18th birthdays but the kids are given an armband on arrival if they have ID proving they are over 18 otherwise they are only allowed to buy soft drinks. I will be on nettles all night until she gets home.

Well here we are my favourite day of the week NOT . Housework day
:(.
2 loads of washing done already. Living room dusted . Dishes done and put away. Chicken defrosting nicely for dinner. Never woke up until 11.15  so that's not too bad.
DS is away with his dad so I will get peace to get on ad DD is being a lazy moo and lying inher bed. She has fallen out with her BF so is being a pain in the butt. I am just not interested in teenage angst over spotty wee boys.
Paid £2 to ARGOS today so if I pay £5.50 tomorrow I will meet my target for Jamuary :j. I am well chuffed with that as it is £710 paid to debts and that is a massive chunk off of my money. I know some folks on here can pay huge amounts every month when they put their mind to it but I just don't have that kind of income. So I reckon £710 paid out this month is mega. What does irk me though is that if I had that £710 to spend I could have had a lot of fun. In total £415.34 came off of my debt and my DFD is now October 2013 which is 2 months earlier than when I started in January
. So it's all good.
Only lost 1lb this week but to be honest I was using up things in the freezer which may not have been as healthy as they could have been but freezer was emptied and I am now in a position topick and choose what I am going to eat all week. So fingers crossed I will do better this week. I'm not wanting to do this biggest loser style anyway. Slowly, slowly catchy monkey is the way I want to do it but would prefer if I could even get 2lb per week.
Okay, onwards and upwards into my personal hell which is the housework.

I am running a Chinese Laundry here too!!
Well done on the money being paid towards debt, and I am in awe of your amazing lie in!! (and just a little jealous!)Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
£710 is a massive amount by anyone's standards - very well done!
Since you only have 25lb to lose, 1lb is good. I have been at it 18 weeks and lost 19.5lb, and as you say slowly slowly. I think people who want to lose 5st plus are the only ones who regularly lose more than 2lb a week. Have you been watching the biggest loser, they work so very hard and some are only losing 4lb a week, I would be furious LOLLBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

One good thing about the chinese laundry is that your house smells lush
.
I can't believe I woke up at that time Hypno but must have needed it. I tend to burn the candle at both ends during the week and every few weekends I crash. The kids love it as they get peace to lie in without the washing machine, hoover etc blasting in their ears.
Having a short break at the minute and aving a nice wee chicken bovril. Tastes fab, no cals, no fat so perfect. I can pretend it's soup, consomme mind you but still under the heading of soup. Delish.
Would love to pay more to the debt but that £710 is more than a third of my income so am pushing it already. Never mind I am delighted with what I have managed5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Redmadcurls, I wish I only had 25lbs to lose. I should be on the biggest loser lol. Well maybe not quite but if I keep going they will be headhunting me for their programme.
. I have set myself the 25lbs target as an interim one so I don't frighten myself to death. Crazy lady but hey ho if it works I dont care

:j:jMy house is so clean I'm sure you will be able to see it shine from space
. What a great feeling when it is all done. I have had a grand old workout too for free whilst doing it. I will shower after having dinner as I will just smell of food if I dont wait until then.
DS is home form his dads and has been duly despatched to his room to get it sorted as it might be tainting my house's shiny-ness . Been warned that all electrical geeky type items will be removed from his room for a period of time if he does not get it done and done tonight. I am running out of cutlery fgs . Wee b*gger.
I am so glad I prepped the dinner earlier as all I have to do now is iron and I will be finished for the day and can sit on my bum all night:D:D:D
