  • I just realised whilst reading another diary that the year I get debt free ( going by the snowball) I will be 50 . Shocker :rotfl:. DFD is Jan 2015 and I will be 50 in the June so I reckon I will just save the £500 I pay to debts per month for 5 months and I can have a HUGE shindig for being debt free and also for being 50 :D
5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
    Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00
  • I had £8.70 left in my weekly account so I have paid it off of my cc. I had some idea about not following my snowballs advice but am just going to stop that and go with what the snowball is advising and try and pay of a smuch as I can from my 0% card before the interest kicks in. I have 2 cards that charge interest but they are only 4% and 6.9 whereas this one will be 17% at end of 0%:eek:. Makes sense really. So here I go with starting to pay it off :D. I'd actually quite like to be debt free by 49 and then can get my kitchen in by 50 . A girl needs an incentive :rotfl:

  • Kitchen is the heart of the house, it makes you feel good inside when you have a nice kitchen x

  • My kitchen is very much the heart of my house but it is huge. In a way that is brilliant but it is stopping me from renewing it as it will cost me a fortune. Cant just shove on new doors either as they are non standard size :-(. Never mind...........one day, one day !!

  • I hate effing bureaucracy . 4 payments sitting in CSA for me which is over £300 and I need to wait 3 weeks for it as their systems are !!!!. Spent 15 minutes yet again on the phone just trying to get my money out . The girl was lovely but still useless .

So I then discovered that DS's name change on his passport has to be signed by a notary public so made an appointment for tomorrow and it will cost me £42 . Am furious:mad:. Need to pay it though or no passport for my boy so no France trip.

  • :rotfl: TY for punch bag. I'm over it now and just need to get it sorted once and for all and gethim his passport.

NSD today :D. First one in ages.

My liver has really been playing up this week and been very sore since yesterday. I have non alcoholic fatty liver disease and if I eat too many fatty foods then I get really bad pain. I ate a roll and sausage and black pudding yesterday so I have suffered all night and all day. I have fasted most of the day and had chicken, veg and potatoes with fat free gravy for dinner. I've popped pain killers and sat with a hot water bottle all day so hopefully I will get a sleep tonight as was up at 6.45 this morning despite this being the first day of my holiday :(.

Moneywise things will be tight this month but at least I know I will get some money through round about DD's birthday for any expenses I will be Mrs Frugal this month. Was £37 this week for shopping as sent DD with a note and she only bought exactly what was on it so I may do that in future and it will save me a fortune as I just lift things and I end up overspending hugely :o. Never mind I know I am definitely not alon ein that one ;)

  • 1 payment through from CSA so I have stuck it into my savings account so I can get DD's laptop later :D. Feels so good to be able to buy it outright and not go into debt for it :D even a year ago I would not have managed this so I am all chuffed.

NSD yesterday but no chance of that today. DS having a sleepover tonight so I will need to get some gooddies in for him. Also need to pay the £42 for DS's letter for his passport and buy a laptop. Going to get some fruit and yogurts in as well as I have gotten rid of my liver pain just about so I will stick to the healthy diet and try and keep it away as it just makes me miserable :(. Fine now though :D.

Snowin here today believe it or not . I've now got a pot of soup on and had to put the heating back on as it is freezing again. Never mind I don't think it'll come to much

Have a lovely day everyone :D
