thanks Skint. I feel better today
. I just need to blow off steam every now and again and then I dust myself down and paint on the smile for another wee while. She actually lloked not too bad tonight
. Her new oxyen machine seems to be doin the trick and morphine not started yet so she is still pretty bright and cheerful as always
.
I have been a nightmare with my eating the last couple of days  I wish I was the type of person who stopped eating when they were stressed, I'd be like a rake if I was :rotfl:but unfortunately I am more michelin man status
Sport relief day in work tomorrow and my mate and I are dressing up as the 118 guys and will be carrying home made olympic torches. It should be a giggle anyway. DD is making my costume just now.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hi MIT hope you had fun at work today. Sorry to hear about your Mum but Skint but Optomistic is right your Mum will enhoy you talking about your trip. I cant imagine how tough it is for you right now but I do know you will get through it.
LOL at the eating Im the same with stress:j0 -
Am watching sport relief tonight and there must be something wrong with my eyes as water keeps leaking copiously from them:(. These programmes just make you humble. Here am I struggling to pay off debt tht I stupidly ran up buying cr*p and these poor guys are struggling just to live. Shame on me
. We raised a few pounds today but OMG I wish I had some more money to send. I t makes you wonder about the fairness of it all. £5 pays for a vaccination for those poor kids and I spent that on sandwiches and juice for my lunch today . There's just no equality in this world.
Anyway, tomorrow is my mum's 69th birthday. We never thought we'd see this day so we are all going in to hers to have a nice wee day. I had already bought her slippers a couple of weeks ago as we had to get special wide ones from t'inenet @ the grand price of £36 . Still had to cut them as they were too tight due to her swelling
. Never mind, she is nice and comfy and I bought her a gorgeous wee nightie today so I have a gift for her for tomorrow. We'll gt a cake and we'll all stay for a buffet dinner. She will be very happy with that. She is just wearing her nightie more and more as it is just too much effort to get dressed. So I am looking forward to a lovely afternoon spoiling her rotten and then I have a cocktail 50th birthday party at night

Whats your favourite cocktail?Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Groan, Don't mention cocktails:cool:.
My fave is called a fuzzy nipple lol it is vodka, peach schnapps and fresh orange. Totally delish. Goes down the hatch way too easily mind you so am feeling a bit rough today. I was home by 1am though which is not too bad but I was totally shattered as had been constantly on the go since 8am but what a nice day we had.
I worked with DD in the morning and then we got ready and went into mum's. The vistors were streaming in her door all day and we ran out of vases for all the flowers she got. It was brilliant that so many people came to see her but she was exhausted when I left her. We had a lovely buffet dinner and the whole family were there for that. My brother then took my son with him, my DD was going out with her friends and I headed off for a night full of fun and laughs with my extended family. All in all a great day. Just what I needed to get my mojo back
. The sun is shining today so I would be like a wee laundry woman and washing and ironing all day long
Oh goody..................NOT lol.

Jeez not been on here for about a week and my spending proves that out. I dunno about everyone else but when I dont come on here much I seem to go way off the rails .
I am at the end of the month and for the first time in ages I have not made my target for my snowball . CSA payments have gone weird and I can only assume it's because ex has changed jobs. Now 2 payments missing and I am getting quite angry about it. I am angry at CSA for letting me down again and I am angry at ex as it looks like he is reneging on the agreement yet again. So frustrating . Oh well I've come through worse in the past and at least each time this kind of thing happens I have a few thousand pounds less debt.
It's DD's 18th on 0th April. I am getting her a pink laptop. I have the money saved and I have ordered her a fancy cake from a girl in my work who makes the most amazing novelty cakes. I will buy her a couple of bits and pieces as well so she has some surprises from me too. So I doubt very much that anything extra will be apid this month either. Oh well at least it is going in the right direction and hopefully soon I will be under £15k and I only have £100 to pay my mum back and that'll be £100 extra a month to the CC.
I desperately need new specs so I am going to try and raise some money ASAP so I can negate the cost of them. I am off all week so in between catching up with friends and spending some time with my mum I will be turbo listing for the next free weekend and also getting stuff ready for car boot soon and see what I can manage to pull together cash wise.
So I hope everyone is doing well xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Well that's another month gone by and here we are in April. How did that happen
Anyway, so far rthis year I have paid £1,951.17 to my debt. I was hoping to be at £2,500 by now but life has overtaken me too many times and tbh I have been a bit complacent at times so I am really going to try hard to change that a bit. This month will be rather expensive as DD is 18 but hopefully I have the majority of that covered. I am going to menu plan like crazy this month and kids are off for 2 weeks and I am off for 1 so that should save me on lunches a bit.
Ok time to bore you all with last months spends:eek:
Groceries £284.32
Miscellaneous- £79.15 < £64.11 on last month
Lunches - £ 198.52  < £2o.16 on last month
Petrol- £139.86 > £17.57 on last month  DD needs to start helping
Gifts- £162.14 > £138.64 on last monthnot bothered , mums b'day
Socialising- £75 > £36.80 but DD's leaver dance and trip paid
Clothes - £68.00> £ 36.80 but started buying for DS for France trip
Holidays £51 passport and postage for DS
So some good but more not so good. I'm really pleased with the shopping as that's the first I've managed to get that down a bit. I'll be working hard on that again this month. I am going to be mega skint this month as I have DD's birthday and also the balance to pay for DS's trip so I should be a bit slimmer come the end of April and my shopping bill should be very frugal as I can't afford to eat :rotfl:. Never mind I do love a challenge .5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
