I did day 5 last night but still can't get through without having to stop 5 seconds b4 the end of the 1st cardio sesh, I'm fine on the others but those jumping jacks and skips kill me at first. I might see about swapping the circuits round i.e. doing circuit 2 first then circuit 1.
Anyone else having this problem?
On the plus side, I have noticed the jelly belly is a bit less wobbly than normal
I am exactly the same, have to stop for about 5 seconds in cycle 1 then get through the rest fine without stopping. Who would have thought skipping would be so hard lol, its the burn in the calves that gets me
I need to get back into it tomorrow, have lost about 9lbs since just before xmas, not spectacular but heading in the right direction. Feel so much better in general when i have done some exercise! 0 -
The DVD arrived on Friday.
This morning i managed to take the wrapper off................................. and managed to watch it right through whilst having a Sunday lie in. Much to the OH's amusement, who popped his head round the door halfway through.
Just wanted to know what i might be letting myself in for if/when i get started. Tomorrow maybe!0 -
Well... I have had a wobble this weekend and havent shredded at all. No excuses, just laziness. I'm not going to let it completely derail me though and will be back on it tonight (may even do a double level 1!) How is everyone else doing? x0

Don't worry insomniac, I have let it slide (for the THIRD TIME lol) as well!!!

Weekends are tough on the old motivation! Back on it tonight sapphire?0

Sorry for not checking in for a while but was beat after shredding on Monday and had a conference yesterday so didn't get back home until gone 8 - no chance! I'm aiming to complete level 1 with no breaks or cheats tonight, then move onto level 2 the next time I do it0
-
hey, i should be on day 7 of level 2 today but only completed day 5 as i didn't do a shred sunday due to my shoulder hurting, i got back on the wagon so to say on monday but was having a rubbish day tuesday so instead of shredding i ate crisps and chocolate, i felt so guilty on Wednesday that i actually cried with disapointment in myself.
Anyhoo, i got back on track yesterday evening (after my little break down) and today so i have exactly 15 days left until i've finished the shred!
i'm starting to wonder whether to shred 3 times a week once the 30 days are up, maybe 1 of each level per week or get Jillians 6 week 6 pack (though through my flabby stomach i don't think it'd be worth buying!). maybe i'll re think that one lol.
keep up the good work everyone and insomniac03, the breaks i need in level 2, 5 days in are about every couple of minutes it's just too hard, but i have read that level 3 seems a little easier than level 2.
sorry for the essay!hi

Thinking of joining you...
How long does the workout take? It says 24mins on the first page of here, but on the dvd I saw it said an hour? Is it this one?

Hi there,
Each level is about 22 mins long (2 min warm up, 3 x 6 min circuits, 2 min stretches). There are 3 levels, which is why the entire DVD is just over an hour long. You only need to do one 22 min work out per day
That is indeed the right DVD. HTH
