hi folks not posted since the first couple of days of the thread, but am doing my best! have managed to shed 3lbs since my monday weigh-in (target for January 7lbs). and am trying to follow WW - bought the recipe books on special in WH Smiths but have decided i dont need to pay anybody £6 to tell me i'm a lard ar*e every week! so i have started putting the money away to buy new clothes in the spring. Had planned on a long walk today but surprise surprise its been snowing again so the Wii will be dragged out at some point, after the cleaning, washing, ironing, menu planningetc etc
keep it up!

There's some of us boys here too! I hope you don't mind.
Quite pleased with a loss of 4lb in my first week, though I think that's more to do with eating sensibly and not having had a beer all week (*faints*) rather than the Wii. I did 30 mins last Tuesday but only a few quick sessions since then.
I've been concentrating on the Wii Aerobic exercises. The hula hoop and step routines are my favourites so far - but don't tell the lads down the pub!0 -
No idea if this has been mentioned but try MyFitnessPal as a place to update all your food and drink intake and exercise. It has iPhone and Android apps too so can keep up to date on the go.
Been working for me so far0 -

I'd like to join in too please!
I dusted off my Balance Board yesterday and did 2 lots of 30 mins yesterday and 40 mins this morning.
I'm using Wii fit Plus at the moment as I bought it in the sales.
I've also bought "Your Shape" with camera so going to give that a go as well as the thought of seeing myself on the TV in all my flabby glory might get my backside in gear. May give that a try tomorrow if I manage get up before the boys do!
I'd like to lose 2 stone if possible but want to lose inches more than lbs!
Good luck!Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

QUOTE]Sorry Doshwaster.
Dont worry, we wont tell the blokes down the pub !
Well done to all who have lost weight so far. I'm recharging ready to start on Monday. I like the look of "your shape" Clutterfree. When I lost my original 3stone I used to video myself in underwear every month. It really helped.Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -
I tried the free jogging on wii fit yesterday and did 40 mins whilst watching deal or no deal! Been doing an hour each day. Finding my weight is going up and down, although I''m hoping it will go more down then up each so overall I lose weight. I'm not dieting as I don't have alot of weight to lose I'm hoping to do it through exercise as I love my food too much. I'm downloading my fitness pal as I type, even though I'm not on a diet I think it would be good to keep track of my calories as I'm guilty of pigging out now and then so would probably put me off if I'm keeping track of calories!0

Good evening ladies and gents,
May I join in too please? :j
I finally bought my wii fit last week, it got delivered four days agoI've managed to do a couple of half an hour work outs so far, think I've a long way to go. My dumpy Mii says I'm two and a half stone over weight
Was rather a shock when trying on jeans to have to go to a 16  I think it may take a while as there's still christmas treats and my 30th at the end of the month, but i'm trying to be good.
Sounds like everyone is doing really well"Live each day as if it were your last and garden as though you will live forever"

Hi all, well I got the Wii and Wii fit for Christmas and have only had 2 days off since then, I am loving the hula-hooping, and the cycling. Unlocked the Advanced cycling and spent 25 minutes looking for the last flag. Frustrating but burnt 111 calories and worked up quite a sweat, It told me I had covered 12km :j Don't know how accurate it is but hey ho.
I think the yoga is great as well, nice for a cool down after burning the fat!
Glad to see lots of people sticking to it, I just hope the novelty doesn't wear off for me soon.Currently takling Barclaycard - £67/£350Debt free date October 2014:jDoing it for my girlies!!:j38lbs lost in 2011SW for May 8lb/7lb0
