Hi all, well I got the Wii and Wii fit for Christmas and have only had 2 days off since then, I am loving the hula-hooping, and the cycling. Unlocked the Advanced cycling and spent 25 minutes looking for the last flag. Frustrating but burnt 111 calories and worked up quite a sweat, It told me I had covered 12km :j Don't know how accurate it is but hey ho.
I think the yoga is great as well, nice for a cool down after burning the fat!
Glad to see lots of people sticking to it, I just hope the novelty doesn't wear off for me soon.
I did the advanced cycling today and couldn't find the last flag either. It didn't show up on the map either??? Never did find it, did you?Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

I did eventually find it, the last 2 I was missing I found after jumping over a red ramp, it took me through to a cave where I found the last 2, I then had the mission of trying to find the start again!
My tally for the day is !1hr 20 and 334 calories burnt. Really proud of myself:TCurrently takling Barclaycard - £67/£350Debt free date October 2014:jDoing it for my girlies!!:j38lbs lost in 2011SW for May 8lb/7lb0 -
Morning Ladies and Gent!
Hope you all are well.
Well this morning I had a go on "Your Shape".
I did 30 mins cardio and boy did I get hot and sweaty! This is certainly more of a work out than Wii Fit+.
You can choose which parts of the body you wish to work on or opt for the cardio weight loss. I chose the latter.
You can also choose how long you want to work out for from 15mins upwards.
It also gives you the option of stating which other exercise equipment you want to use if you have any - ball, weights and another which I cannot remember right now. I chose just to do the workout alone.
Within my 30mins I got a warm up and a cool down which I thought was good and I supposedly burnt 346 calories. I say supposedly because at some stages I was out of puff and had to rest!
The only downside was that a lot of the time the camera didn't pick up on my movements so the instructor kept telling me to keep moving when I was! This could be down to the location of the camera and darkness of the room as I didn't want to open the curtains in case I was seen  so just had the lights on.
Overall, I feel like I have definitely worked out today and I am looking forward to trying some of the muscle toning exercises.
I am also increasing my fluid intake. Managed 5 pints of water yesterday which is a lot for me as I usually only have 2 glasses a day.
Good luck everyone xxAgeing is a privilege not everyone gets.

Hi, I'd like to join please, you all sound so positive
I have a lot of weight to lose and I'm really unfit, but I'm going to think of it as 'one pound at a time'.
Just about to do my first wii fit session of 2011.

Wow, so many new bods ready for the burn :j. It's nice to see so many posters
I've had a couple of 'bad' food days, not as horrific as they could have been but Thursday night my OH did a mini roast, it wasn't ready till 10.30pm and I was so starving by then I couldn't stop myself eating it all...shameful. Friday I had a Macdonalds, although I would normally have a large meal and a cheeseburger so having just a medium nugget meal was a step in the right direction. Last night a friend came round at 5pm and I haven't seen her for 4 months so we nattered till 10pm! OH then ordered a pizza, I only had one small slice and some goujons but naughty, naughty me
Today has been a good food day...just a slice of soya & linseed toast for brekkie and a massive bowl of kiwi, mango and banana for lunch. Looks like Butternut Squash soup for dinner so not bad at all. Didn't work out yesterday but did a swift 15 minute walk and worked out for best part of an hour and a half today.
WF+ said I have lost 2lbs since my last body test but I will see what the Wednesday weigh in says. I promise to be good until then and I will have a 40 minute walk across town tomorrow morning to collect my car.
Keep at it everyone, it's a jog and not a sprint remember

Hi fellow mse'r wii-ers! :T
I'd like to join please if you'll have me. I bought the wii summer last year and managed to lose nearly 1 stone! I fell off the wii wagon in Novemberand have not found the motivation to get back on til today :T.
I'm 5'3 and weighed myself this morning on the wii, i'm 13 and a half stone . It's not as bad as I thought (expected 14+) but bad enough.
I too tried the gym but found it uncomfortable, embarassing and with 4 kids and a job I struggled to find the time and motivation to go!
You lot have really motivated me to get back on the wii wagon, so I want to say a HUGE thank you, you are an inspiration and its lovely to know that I'm not alone. I'll have more time to read through this thread properly after work tonight.
my ideal weight should be 8st 12 but i'm aiming for 9 and half stone. I've set my first target - losing 7lb in 2 months (a 1lb a week).
Well done to everyone that has already started!

Morning!
Well done for all the weight losses! :j
Have managed to do 50 mins workouts on the wii fit for the past two days, yesterday my dumpy mii said i'd put on 1lb! Not sure how that happened, just a bit more encouragement to try a bit harder. I think
Deep cleaning my house must be good excersize (as long as I can resist those last few roses) I'm going to get half of that done this week too, feel free to grumble if I haven't said anything in a couple of days

Well done LittleKel on your weight loss!
Anyone else have their weigh in today? Mine is on Friday.
Managed to do 30 mins on Your Shape today. Mix of cardio and toning exercises for my glutes (you can specify which part of the body you wish to work on). It said 384 cals burned but again I'm sure it was less than that as I have to stop when I get out of puff!
Anyone watching Biggest Loser tonight? I've never watched it before but shall give it a look.
Keep at it everyone!Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

I will be watching the Biggest Loser tonight, I'm obsessed with them, I've watched all the Us series, and simply adore Bob and Jillian.
Speaking of which I managed to do 30 mins on my new Biggest Loser game, it makes you puff a lot more then Wii fit, and it makes me feel like I've properly worked out, warming up, and cooling down, all under the instruction of Bob.
I plan to do free-stepping on the Wii fit whilst I watch the Biggest Loser.
Well done to all the losers :j My weigh in day is Thursday, so I will let you all know.Currently takling Barclaycard - £67/£350Debt free date October 2014:jDoing it for my girlies!!:j38lbs lost in 2011SW for May 8lb/7lb0
