Well, I've been looking for a way to get back to regular wii fit sessions and I think this is it! Thanks to all!
I'm quite new to this - having read forums but never registered to join before - but should we maybe move this discussion to the MoneySavers Arms? After all it's no longer a money saving issue strictly speaking.0 -

How is everyone getting on?
I managed to cram in a 40 minute work out on Wii Fit Plus last night, lots of rythm boxing and super hula hooping! I didn't manage to start up my EA Sorts Active as my OH hogged the TV to watch Indiana Jones . My other fitness coach - dance workout has also arrived so I will be trying them out over the next few days and will report back on how I find them.
Weighed in yesterday and lost 1lb, not the start I had quite hoped for but it is TOTM and I had an extra jumper on so I shant complain. Been very good on food last few days as well, lots of fruit and veg.
Heres to another week of Wii weightloss

Hi girls..... do you mind if I join you all?
I bought my Wii just after Christmas with the intention of using it to lose weight. The Wii fit is still in its box ready to be used from Monday (by then there will be no more temptation in the fridge:))
I dont have a lot of weight to lose. I lost 3 stone a few years ago. However I am pre menopausal and I know its a time when exercise is very important. I'd like to lose about 8-10lb. I'll let you know how my 1st attempt goes on MondayLoved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -
Hi again,
finally my EA spors active has turned up today. OH will be setting the Wii up downstairs later tonight :T I haven't been dieting or even being careful about what I eat (still got xmas chocs to get through) but as of tomorrow I make a start. I'm quite good at eating properly when I exercise, for some reason I crave healthier food?!?!?
Hoping to shift a stone, haven't given myself a deadline but hopefully it won't take forever... as long as I keep up the exercise I should be okEven if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
Can I jump in as well..have got Wii, balance board gathering dust for last 10 months..but enough is enough i must move now!!!0

Hi can I join in too
I have had the wii fit + since July and also was very excited for about 2 weeks -
However we got just dance for christmas and my little girl loves it and wants to play on it all the time - so will be dancing with her during the day and then will get the balance board out in the evenings
I need to loose a couple of Lb by the end of the month to squeeze into a dress for family party and then after than want to loose around 1 stone but mainly to get fit as i have become very lazy since becoming a stay at home mum0 -
Hi to all the newbies that have found the thread, I hope everyone is doing well
For those who were askig about the EA Sports Active....
It's H A R D! Not fun like the Wii Fit but a really good mix of muscle and aerobic workouts. The onscreen demonstration is good and not had any problems with movements not being picked up. It doesn't weigh you like the Wii fit but it does track calories. Lots of different workouts and if you do the 30 day challenge it automatically changes the workouts for you so it doesn't get boring.
You will sweat and ache the day after but I think this is going to be one of the best for losing weight. I got mine from Amazon for around £15 including the leg strap and resistance band so I think it's going to be a good investment.
If anyone has any other questions then feel free to ask!

Hello Jody!! Thought i would pop over and check out your thread. I used a mixture of will fit and a cross trainer to loas about 2 stone in 2009. Then 2010 was a mixtures of putting on a load of weight and then losing some again.
I have a minimum of 1.5 stone to lose before 26th of March which is my wedding dress fitting date!!
Will do a work out on My Fitness coach and wii fit tomorrow!
Skittles tonight and boys night! I am sure OH's friends dont want to watch me jumping around like a sweaty hippo! :-) xxOrange Fairy

Well I've done my 45 mins of wii for today
Going to use it on the days I can't get to the gym, even a little each day, going on holiday at the end of the month and realistically would like to lose about 5-7lbs by then.
