jtr- don't worry too much about allegedly gaining a pound or two according to wii fit, my weight went up 8lb overnight the other day  so it's clearly not that accurate, and it did show a message saying that your body weight can go up or down by 2.2lb throughout the day depending on when you last ate etc.
FelinePrincess- I like the cycling toodid the advanced level today and it took me 20 mins because I couldn't find the last flag

Ha Ha...I bought the wii fit a balance board and just dance for my kids at Christmas. (bought the wii last year). We've had a bit of a go on it...but I really want to do it regular as I have two weddings to attend (daughters) in the Summer and although Im not really overweight I would love to just tone up a little and look gorgeous in my new outfits! Bring it on!;):T0

I got up early this morning and been out all day and really can't be bothered going on wii fit now but don't want to break my routine so I will do it for a bit.
Does anyone else find the hoola hooping really hard work? It kills me! But I felt a bit better after seeing kerry katona doing it on her reality tv show and she was knackered after it too so at least I'm not the only one!
I've seen quite a few people mentioning Just Dance and was wondering if I should get it but my co-ordination is really bad so worried I'd be really rubbish and give up. Is it difficult?
I'm off now to do some cycling, yogo, muscle training, hoola hooping and maybe have a snowball fight!0 -
so weighed in this morning at 12st 5
might not get done in the way of exercise today but back at work tomorrow so the wii will be set up for then0 -
I find the hula hooping knackering!!! I can only do a few minutes before wanting to keel over :rotfl:
Did another 40 minute workout yesterday, I wasn't planning it to be that long but I spent 24 minutes on cycling plus searching for the last flag...I never found it
Took the plunge yesterday and ordered the original EA Sports Active kit and the more workouts add on for it. It worked out at only £21 for both from Amazon and it's highly rated. I lost my second job last night so I had to eat a segment of chocolate orange today to console myself. Will do a good workout tonight to make up for it.

Another vote for death by hula-hooping here... I'm ok to start with then I get a bit sore and rather jerky and unco-ordinated :undecided0 -
Chances are it's the same one that I couldn't find! If so you have to go through a black cave to get it

Took my ages to find that flag too! I'm jerky and unco-ordinated all through the hula-hooping!
I was quite disappointed last night as I set up a workout with all the yoga and muscle exercises I usually do and it didn't let me adjust how many reps for each one and it didn't score for any of the exercises which is one of the things that motivates me to do them and to try hard is seeing if my score has improved and trying to unlock extra reps. So now I don't think I will be using the workout feature again which is a shame because it was handy being able to go through all the exercises without pressing all the buttons0 -
i find Wii Dance, gives a much better workout, and is more fun, than Wii Fit
i think there have been numerous threads on here, about wii fit, not actually helping anyone get fitter or loose weight - its just a fun thing to do, if you have a spare half hour
anything that gets you up and moving is a good thing, but dont expect it to have noticeable affects

Have the wii fit but need to egt more use out of it! also planning on getting just dance, hopefully a combination of both should help with weight loss. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
