Losing weight - Gym V Wii

Hi
I'd like to join please, I lost over 1 stone last year but went on holiday in November then Christmass blah blah and I've managed to put 10lb back on. I've been eating too much and not excercised for a couple of months so not happy with myself. I'd like to lose 16lb by end of March. Did my first wii session today 23 minutes on the EA sports active whole body workout. I'll be doing the 9 week challenge on Sports Active which means I'll have to exercise 4 times per week but the bonus is that it gives different exercises each time and works different parts of the body.
It will be nice to have the motivation of doing this with a group

My legs are still aching from my friday 1 hour  I've got a nightclass until 8.30 then I'm going to do half an hour before bed, better than nothing! Then back to 45 mins tomorrow hopefully as I'm not going to make it to the gym til thurs."Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring."0

Well done everyone on keeping it up!
Hi Maldives lover! I'm going to the Maldives this year which is why I am desperately trying to lose weight!
Had a fairly good food day and done loads of exercise, a 25 minute brisk walk, 37 minutes on WF+ then my EA active workout! Very sweaty and tired lol.
I also installed the my fitness pal app so thanks to the poster who recommended it!

Hi jtr2803
With all that exercise you're sure to make your weight loss target. Is this your 1st time to the Maldives? It's usually the holidays that motivate me to lose weight but I've got nothing booked for this year, but I need to lose weight just in case we got on a late deal:)0 -
Yep, first time for us (but hopefully it won't be the only time!)
I've got 18 weeks before we go so fingers crossed I can lose at least 2 stone before we go

[STRIKE]no I wont, yes I will, no I wont[/STRIKE], YES I WILL. Can I join your gang please?
We got a Wii + balance board for the family for Cmas. I did the body test on Boxing Day and was Obese. Did it again 4th Jan and was down to overweight as I lost 5lb (chocs ran out on 27th...;))
I was sporadically playing with the kids...kids are now back at school, so I've been Wii-ing less (tee hee). I think I will commit myself to 3 30 minute sessions every week. That sounds reasonable and acheivable.
My favourite game is rhythm parade on wii fit plus- used to swing a baton in real life as a child so this brings back memories.
And jtr - hope my favourite pics from our Maldives holiday inspire you to more Wii (tee hee again :rotfl:) . We went in 2009 to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary...and Tesco clubcard paid for the entire thing. Happy days.:D:D:DWho made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Oh wow, what amazing pics, LOVE the school of bannerfish!
I have sneakily been saving up clubcard points but now Virgin have put down the amount you can use I am wondering if it's worth it
What Island did you stay at?
I so can't wait!!!! :j:j:j

The Maldives are just fantastic, I've been to Meeru Island and Maayafushi. I would go back every year if possible. Keep up the excercise you'll spend the best part of your holiday in a swimming costume or bikini. Wish I was going that would certainly motivate me0
