Oh wow, what amazing pics, LOVE the school of bannerfish!

I have sneakily been saving up clubcard points but now Virgin have put down the amount you can use I am wondering if it's worth it :(

What Island did you stay at?

    I so can't wait!!!! :j:j:j

I agree the cap on vouchers makes a holiday on clubcard something you have to think twice about.

We stayed on Bandos - we took our (then) 4 and 3 yr olds with us and Bandos was the only one virgin had with family rooms. For a "busy" island it was so quiet.

You HAVE to get an underwater camera - maybe use your Tesco clubcard vouchers for that instead? I used advantage card points to buy ours :D We have a great video of OH calmly swimming in a school of angel fish, and suddenly recognising he was swimming with 4 very hungry, very large circling reef sharks... :rotfl:

    Sounds like it was great!

I already have two u/w cameras (I learnt to dive in Egypt last year so bought a camera for that) and I am asking for money for my birthday to buy a 3rd. I'm a big fish geek which is why the Maldives is such a dream holiday for me :j

    125 days and counting!

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

My son became a fish geek during the holiday...he loved just standing still and seeing how many and what types came up to say hello to him. And watching Finding Nemo on the plane home was a whole new experience.:rotfl:

We are going to Meeru's sister Island, it has just been re-opened after refurbishment!

It it's anything like Meeru, you're in for a treat. Fantastic food and service at Meeru, staff are brilliant. I am so jealous.

I've just added EA Sports Active for the PS3 to my wish list for my birthday next month. The EA games are really good but I like the idea of not having to hold the wii controllers all the time as the PS3 versions is wireless.

My favourite game is rhythm parade on wii fit plus- used to swing a baton in real life as a child so this brings back memories.

Well I had my 1st go on the Wii fit, I really enjoyed it. It will take me a while to see exactly whats on there but I did the Hula Hoop, 10mins free step and a programme I put together. Havent found the rhythm parade yet, will give that a look. I even made hubby get on as he is overweight:)
Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!

I really didn't feel like exercising today but just did 30 mins on Your Shape. :j Said I burnt 500 cals but I doubt that. I was hot and sweaty at the end, although nothing like those on The Biggest Loser!

We've got the wii fit balance board and also many of the fitness games and tbh, we both got bored of them.

We've also got "just dance 2" and it has the "just sweat" part on there, i'm not sure if we're loosing weight from it yet, but when i'm finished playing on there i feel as if i've been at the gym lol. Plus its great fun, we're not bored, we're playing against eachother etc.

Also, if anyone is looking to buy the wii balance board, as it says on the quick grab it now board, it's £50 for the board and game in store at morrisons
  • Hi guys, what the best wii fitness game to get for a workout. We have a wii and recently bough a balance board off ebay daily deals for £25. We have EA sports active as well.
  • Can i join pretty please?

Have Wii and Wii balance board. i had my DD in sept 2007 and my thyroid removed Feb 2008 so i gained a fair whack. Because my medication has leveled out im now 11 stone 12 (was over 14.6!) and i'm looking to tone up and lose a bit more. Going running (ha!) 3 times a week with a friend and going to get on the wii. I'd like to be 10 stone 9 as my target weight for summer (I think thats right? wii says 3lb every 2 weeks, difference between weight is 17lb, divide by 3 is 6 - ok 5.66 - so 12 weeks?)

Should point out im 5ft7, Current BMI is 25.99, Current weight is 11 stone 12

    Oh PLEASE can I join?

    Hey guys and girls :)

Is there a place here for people who don't need to lose much weight, but want to be a lot fitter? :o

In a nutshell, I have a desk job, I used to have access to regular swimming and horse riding, but lost both of those over the last couple of years, and don't really have anyone to exercise socially with (I'm a geek and live on my own). I'm not overweight for my height, but I am a few pounds heavier than I was (no idea what I do weigh, I don't possess a pair of scales!), and I am definitely in need of being fitter!

I have been playing with Wii Fit round my friends house, in sessions gigglingly referred to as 'communal Wii-ing in the living room ;). However, last year I bought EA Sports Active; last night it came out it's box for the first time (another :o). I did the first workout on the list, which was deceptively marked 'easy' - well, actually, most of it was OK, except for the 'running on the spot whilst trying to kick your bum for a couple of minutes' bit, which nearly killed me! :rotfl:

I don't have a balance board at the moment, BUT I did promise myself that when I had earned enough money from surveys I could buy myself one using that money, so if my local Morrisons has one left, as I have over £50 in the kitty it is MINE! :D
Never underestimate the power of the techno-geek... ;)
