Well I only lost 1lb this week, it's a bit disappointing as I've kept to my 1200 calories per day and worked out 6 times (nearly 3 hours) on the Wii last week, but I'm staying positive I can see changes in by body even if hubby says I've still got a jelly belly:mad:0

Hi all, I am starting the wii for weightloss today. I put on nearly a stone over the last 6 months, so time to shift it! I used the wii last year, coupled with weightwatchers and lost a stone in 3 weeks. I had step to the beat, a walking game for the wii, that I would do for two hours each day. However I sold the game a month or so ago, so will be using the wii fit plus instead. Jogging is not my thing, so I tend to stick to the free step, as I have a riiser to make the board higher and the riiflex dumbells for the wii motes, so with the fastest pace and two lots of 30 minute sessions, you get a fair old work out! Plus you can watch tv at the same time lol!:starmod:Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1189:starmod:0

How do you view your weight chart on the wii challenge?
I want to use this to track my weight along with doing some of the challenges but can't seem to find a way to see any weight changes or the original main index.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

I have had a couple of days off in the last few days, but I've done a decent amount on the days I have played. I tried the 'slow' step routine on EA More Workouts, which is comprise of three sub-exercises - it's a bit repetitive (though I suppose that's always going to be the case!), but a good half hour workout.
One thing, though - make sure the nunchuck is firmly in the leg strap before you start, and check it after every exercise - mine popped out half way through the last session, and I had a heck of a job to get it back in and keep going at the same time! :rotfl:Never underestimate the power of the techno-geek...0 -
Was it the one through the tunnel in the middle of the sandy area? That took me about the same time the first distance the first time, too!
From what I remember a tunnel/cave was involved and it took me to a dead endLoved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

Eat more food, or stop working out so much. 1200 calories per day isn't enough, and that's before you even start working them off.Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

Hi all,
Can I join you please?
I've dusted off my wii fit and done 30mins but mostly of that was doing step as I couldn't get it right (bad timing) it was annoying me so I had to keep having another go to see if I could get it (I couldn't, grrr).
I'm aiming to loose about 12lbs by doing more exercise and eating healthier. I know alot of people don't see wii fit as 'real' exercise but its certainly better than nothing so I'm going to give it a go.
Looking forward to reading all the posts on here.0 -

Also remember that muscle is more dense that fat, so if by working out you are burning fat and building muscles you won't see as big a weight drop as maybe you hope, but you could still esily be swapping 'bad' weight (excess fat) for 'good' weight (muscle) and getting slimmer and more tonedNever underestimate the power of the techno-geek...0 -
Hi All,
Well I sort of cheated and weighed myself on Friday rather than Sunday, because I knew I was going to my pals house for a homemade curry night on Saturday, which might involve more than my usual amount of calories! I lost 2lb, so a bit of a drop down from the previous week, but I am only doing the wii now, instead of wii and gym.
So now I'm down to 12 stone exactly-although due to the H2b being "funny" my wii thinks I gained 9lb last week as he put our puppy on my back as the wii was measuring me :doh:so when I remeasured myself, it didn't say how much I had lost
I think I'm seeing a change in myself though, I seem to feel full up alot quicker, so maybe I'm re-registering my full-up sense!0 -
Hi all, just for anyone interested, I found step to the beat on amazon.com, in america its called walk it out, costs £25 delivered which is a total bargain considering its hard to get hold of and sells for around £60 on ebay! I bought it again as it really is fab for losing weight.
