I'm not sure if this has previously been mentioned but I found a wii fit accessory kit made by everlast which adds height to your wii fit board and gives you small weights to add to your wii-mote which turn it into a dumbbell for a better work out. You buy them seperately see http://www.firebox.com/product/2695/Wii-Fit-Workout-Accessories?via=cat . I imagine you could simulate the dumbbell effect with a pair of strap on weights that might be cheaper but I think the stepper raiser is a good idea. Remember to search for cheaper prices before buying

Hi, Glad to have found this thread :) I need to lose some weight but also need to do Pilates/Yoga for health reasons, the problem is that I am really unfit. I have bought My Shape & the Pilates/Yoga Wii games but I have been thinking tonight that a dance one may be benefical to get me motivated, any suggestions please?
    Thanks

Well done on the weight loss:T My weigh in tomorrow hoping to lose at least 1lb, been really good this week, 1200 cals per day and exercised on wii 5 or 6 times.

At first it semmed quite easy, but my legs really ache today, so I'm hoping it has done some good!

Rest day tomorrow - what do you all do on rest days? I thought I might do balance games on wii fit, so I'm having a rest from aerobic activity.

Do you have to do the rest days when they say? Can it be changed?

They tell you how many rest days you should have, and you can decide when to put them - I think you can alter them in future weeks, as your other commitments may change during a 6 week preiod.
