I would go with the 1387.4 result, round it up to 1400. Eat 1400 calories per day and aim to burn off 250-300 calories if you can, preferably using some resistance rather than cardio (so lift some weights!). If you have a Body Pump class that would be ideal, and good fun, but if you're doing Body Pump aim to eat about 1600 calories that day.

If you don't want to go to the gym on any day, stick to your 1200 calories. Drink a LOT of water, and get plenty of sleep.

Thanks. Normally I would opt for the 1200 calories and no exercise:D but I'm actually enjoying all the Wii exercise so I'll look at increasing my calories, a glass of wine sounds like a nice option.

I must be mad, I started the 30 day challenge on EA Active Sports last night - easy mode, though! ;) Done a few things I hadn't before, especially thanks to adding the Balance Board into the mix - kicks and knees on the boxing was fun! Did OK at the inline skating, too, much to my surprise.

Also did half an hour on the Wii, tried out the Island View cycling course for the first time. Definitely need more practice on that one!

I've done 23 mins tonight on the MW challenge, got the next 3 days off. Haven't used Sports Active for ages but I don't remember any cycling, I must have a look at the weekend.

Just done an hour on Wii Fit+ but I cannot get my fave Step exercise to work. It says "step off balance board" even though I'm not on it!
At least it didn't say one at a time please

That was the Wii Fit Plus, not Sports Active :)

Managed to squeeze my second 30 day challange workout in. Although I am starting to wish I could stop the relentlessly chirpy trainer from repeatedly telling me I'm 'bringing great energy' and 'setting <myself> up for great results going forward' etfc. - you don't need the accent to tell the game is American! ;)

Although she obviously has a perverse sense of humour, as evidenced by this exchange:

Trainer: Now we're going to do some cardio lunges, and really get your heart pumping :D
Me: *hands on knees* You just had me run three track laps, what do you think it's doing now?!? :o
Never underestimate the power of the techno-geek... ;)

Has anyone bought or tried the "Wii Fit Step Up Pro" or similar?

The Step Up Pro looks like it could be a bit wobbly! I'd be using it on carpet, so not sure about it really but I feel like I need a harder workout on the step exercises, which I'm really enjoying now I'm getting there with the timing!

I'm doing an hour an day at the moment but I probably won't bother on weekends as it'll be hard to get an hour or even 30mins in one go with the kids around.

Oh and I forgot to say, my legs are aching!

    I've been Money Tipped!
28 minutes completed today - balance board gave up on me!

Did advance cycling today too - had fun chasing the flags using the map - kept falling off the massive cliffs that were not indicated on the map!!!

I like the marching band one, pmsl. Trying to shake the nunchuk (who on earth chose that name) and the remote and march in time, lol. Great fun. I also like the step dancing except I feel quite intimidated when I get a row of "perfects!" and the other girls turn and stare at me.
