I've done the step for the first time today (no coordination usually but seems easier on the MW). I did the 30 minutes and it is in 3 10 minute sections which all seem the same, suits me as I'm pretty hopeless but probably not that good for anyone who does a lot of step.
Also did another day of my challenge for nearly 30 mins, over half way there now on the challenge anyway, weight doesn't seem to be going anywhere:mad:0 -
Can someone help me please? I'd love to join in, but I don't have a wii fit (or even a wii). I have looked at play.com but there seem to be so many variations and I am completely flummoxed. I just want to be able to do some exercises, I don't want to do step class as I have a gammy knee.
I realise I'll need the balance board, but apart from that.... HELP....I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

I have Wii Fit Plus. It weights you, bmi etc and keeps tabs on how you are doing. You can also sign in as a guest so it can't keep an eye on you.:rotfl:
I love the yoga. It tells you if you are balanced correctly. The step is just so straight forward on, on, off, off to a beat, quite relaxing really.
I have just bought the Biggest Looser Challenge and am doing the simple 20 minutes work outs not too difficult and it teaches you stretches, but best of all it gives you days off. :j Only weighs you once a week and although I lost the challenge and no weight loss my virtual friends didn't vote me out.
The EA sport Active (more workout) dvd needs other equipment so I haven't bought this but I may get it later.
I have ordered Your Shape with Camera yet to arrive but looking forward or not to the full body analysis. I believe more aerobic exercises.
Hope this helps a little.
edit: just reread your post didn't realise you didn't have a wii either.I'll have a look.
I would go for one with Wii Fit Plus, console and balance board.
If you have children the one on play.com with wii sports resort plus the motion controller (that this game needs) would be good fun. I like flying the aeroplane round the island.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

Hi all
I'm currently half way through my 6 week challenge on MW. I'm having Sports Active 2 for the PS3 for my birthday but I'm also thinking of having the biggest loser, it's currently on offer at Amazon for £10, is it any good? how does it compare to MW? I'm not very good at aerobics as I lack coordination but I don't have any problems with the exercices on MW.
Any help appreciated0 -
that's funny MaldivesLover cos thats what i logged on to ask. I have got My shape and sorry to say bit disappointed with it. Too repetitive for me. That said, does work in that lets you know when you arent doing it right which means you cant cheat
Having done it 3 days in a row, i am a bit bored so was also contemplating the biggest loser so will be interested to see what everyone says
:wall:Trying to get a grip :think:0 -

My question to anyone who has it is......is it achievable? I wouldnt want to get it and its too hardLoved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -
I have just started using the 'Biggest Looser Challenge' at the moment I am just doing one of the preprogrammed 20 minute challenges. You get weighed complete a weeks exercises and the you do a challenge with other fictional characters. Looser is voted off.
Then comes the weigh in. I didn't loose any weight
but the others voted so I could stay.
As I do other forms of exercise as well I'm going to stick with this for a while before I use it to set specific goals.

Thanks for the link, do they do an english version, I'm sure the you tube video is in japanese:rotfl:
It looks tough but I think I might give it a go I can always try it on the easy level until I've learnt japanese:D0 -

There is a very easy first intro level, then there is a 20 minute level pre set which is quite slow really. It isn't till you set your own intensity levels does it get harder.
The weekly challenge against the cyber biggest losers is competitive ,you exercise all week and the these virtuals turn up and beat you . You have a weigh in as you do on the show and a voting out too.
You get days off where there isn't compulsory training but there is nothing to stop you adding in extra sessions and saving them to your profile.
I think it's fun. DON'T like the size of my image or manorisms there just not me. :rotfl:
ps the dvd isn't in Japanese.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........
