Ooops - has anyone else run out of time on the Expert cycling course on the Wii Fit? Cos I did last night! :o

Rest day on the EA Sports Active, so I'll do a quick half hour on the Wii, I thought. Did 15 minutes, then thought "I'll give the Expert cycling course a go, that should be good for the rest of the time!"

One hour later, and with one flag still unfound, it called time on me... :o No idea how 'far' I cycled, but I'm guessing I wasn't a "Shortcut Pro" ;)

    I've been Money Tipped!
I've been so busy recently today is my first go on the Wii for 10 days. Still lost 2 lbs too!!!!

30 mins done, then I got out Just Dance 2. More sweat from 2 dances on that than from 30 mins on Wii!

The soles of my feet were a bit achey afterwards, that's for sure! Thankfully the cycling action isn't that demanding...

Still no idea where the last flag is, though, as I was looking for it when it called time. Part of me is balking at the thought of trying it again, but I don't like being beaten! Will have to see how I feel after the EA Active Sports workout tonight :D

Same here, barefoot or socks only for Wii Fit, but trainers for Sports Active

  • Just reached the halfway point in my More Workouts 6 week challenge and realised I'll finish it 2 days before my birthday, which is also Pancake day - so I can give myself a couple of days off then start another challenge through lent :D

Just ordered a copy of the my fitness coach for the wii, looks like it has lots of good reviews, anyone using it here? will be posting here when I get it set up :-) In the meantime I am using the sword fighting and the boxing from the sports and sports resort games (as well as cycling but cant see that getting me very fit)
  • I had 3 rest days on MW started again yesterday and it nearly killed me, I really struggled don't know if it's because of the rest days or because I've cut back on carbs this week.

Had some carbs yesterday, and I still struggled today but not quite as much so may be it's the carbs.

I just wish there were more carbs in alcohol :rotfl:

It might be better to space out you rest days rather than taking them all together - not sure, someone might know better.

I'm due to complete the 6 week challenge next Saturday. It's my birthday on Friday and hopefully I'll be having the Sports Active 2 for the PS3, so I'll start the 9 week challenge on that and spread my workouts out a little better.

I've been OK so far this weekend with the workouts so I suspect that my problem last weekend was lack of carbs. I've had more carbs this week and definately had more energy and not struggled any near as much with the workouts.
  • I'm doing the MW. Until now the reverse crunches have been really hard. Today I completed the full 15 properly. Progress!:)
