Have you lost any weight or do you feel any smaller or more toned?
I've actually gained a couple of pounds (according to the Wii, I don't possess any bathroom scales), but as I'm starting from an ideal weight and focussing on improving fitness I'm hoping that's due to building muscle than naughtiness on the food front! ;) Although I have been a bit free with the not-so-good-for-me foods on occasion lately, so possibly not totally... :o Parts of me are definitely feeling a little less wobbly, though :D

Rest day yesterday, back to it today :)

My Wii Biggest Loser Ultimate Challenge arrived today - can't wait to try it! :j
  • I have been doing The Biggest Loser for 2 weeks now and I love it. the routines are all varied and they seem to manage that fine line between motivating and patronising. I chose the 12 week weight loss programme to work to. Yesterday was the first time had to do yoga as part of it. Thought it would be easy but ache big time today. Only thing to watch for is when you select workout length as it doesnt include the breaks between sections, so for example if you choose 40 minutes, you will actually be on it for about 50 mins.
:wall:Trying to get a grip

Having had some bad news last week, I didn't 3 out of 4 workouts last week :(

I am hoping to catch-up though this week. I also just signed up to Rosemary Conley Online to try to give myself a boost with food as well as exercise. If anyone's interested I used a discount code here

Here's to a more positive week working out, and making it alive through 10 reverse crunches

Really struggling to get into the Wii Fit, just finding it a little boring :( bit dissapointed really..

Can anyone suggest their fav things to do to get me motivated.. I think the best thing I did so far was the cycle as it pushed me a bit to keep going. Everything else I am getting bored with and it doesn't seem to last long enough, eg boxing.. it's fun I guess but doesn't work me hard enough.

Maybe I shud go back to the Active trainer, that was hard lol.

hello to all, i never knew this thread existed! i love the wii for exercising but do get bored with the same thing.

i have bought just dance 2 and its fab! it can be as short as 4 mins or as long as you want and on the just sweat mode believe you me you do sweat! its fun and you get hooked on trying to improve your overall score and sweat rating without realising that you have been exercising! you can do 45 mins and it really feels like 15! cannot recommend highly enough, loads of tracks to change to as well!

ive had it a month and im not bored..... yet! :rotfl:

The Wii Fit is more like 'playing' at fitness than a dedicated workout, true, but some of the more advanced levels are more challenging when you unlock them - the advance flying bird thing is truly arm-killing! Go back to the Active Sports for a straightforward workout though.

Speaking of which, finished the 30 day challenge today! :D Only on easy, but I have to admit I do feel a bit fitter all around. I still hate the jumping drills, though!

Think I might try the More Exercises six week challenge next - but maybe not straight away, I've still got the Expert Cycling course on the Wii Fit taunting me over my inability to complete it within the allotted hour... :o

Today was my second day on the Biggest Loser Challenge. I ache. I'm on the moderate personalised 12 week plan, but find the lunges hard. I'm enjoying the variety. For aerobic exercise I use My Fitness Coach Dance Workout, although I haven't done it for the last couple of days.

Well I'm trying to catch up with last week's missed workouts. It does get a bit easier as you get used to it. Though I say that cautiously as sometimes the day-after aches are agony!

The only put-off I'm finding on the Sports Active is that if I need to pause to take a longer 'water break' I can only pause on the actual exercise screen once it's started. It's something pretty minor, but I'd like to be able to pause on any screen :o

    Hi All,

Keen to join in with this. I'm also trying to go out running but if it's cold/wet/snowing it's hard to motivate myself!

I've just bought a wii and only have wii fit (not plus).

I'm finding it's good and I always want to beat my targets but sometimes dont' feel it's like a proper work out.

What other games would you suggest?
