If you have EA on the PS3 do you use the Move thingy?, if so I take it you don't need the leg band anymore? I really don't get on with that thing0

Hi newbeginning
No you don't use the move controllers, the kit comes with 2 arm bands and 1 leg band. Once on and connected by wifi you don't do anything else with them. It's not like the legband on the wii where you have to keeping putting the nunchuck in.
Your hands are free for the whole workout which means you can use free weights instead of the resistance band if you want, makes the workout harder bu you do feel the benefit.0 -
oh - quite disappointed now, the trouble i have is the bliming lag band falls down for some reason, not good when jogging!!
Do you need the Move for it then?0 -

No you don't need move, everything you need comes with the game. the leg band is also much better, my hasn't fallen down yet and I've worn it directly on the skin and over shorts. I'm very impressed with it.0 -
I thought you needed the Move for this, don't know where I got that idea from???
Will be having a look for that now - thanks0 -

I had this problem once when I wore my joggin bottoms, they are loose fitting ones. Now I wear my tighter workout 3/4 length shorts. I dont have a problem.

No you definately don't need move controllers for it. I've put a link into the information about it on the Amazon site http://www.amazon.co.uk/EA-Sports-Active-2-PS3/dp/B003SE6TXM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1299142310&sr=8-1
I got mine from Play when it was on sale at £29.99. If you shop around you can probably get it cheaper than Amazon. It's certainly worth the money. I like the fact that you can start/join an online group to compare workout stats etc, I'm quite competative so comparing my stats with others pushes me to work harder.0 -
Did half an hour on the Wii Fit on Wednesday night, but nothing tonight, oops...
Got a day of Friday, though, so maybe some gardening if the rain holds offNever underestimate the power of the techno-geek...0 -

It's good to have a rest day after exercise, if you can'd do your gardening today you'll probably be able to fit in another session on the Wii.
I did 2 workouts yesterday then treadmill, but went out last night and had steak, cajun chicken and chips, 5 vodkas with diet coke and an ice cream sundaebut on the upside my weight is the same today as it was yesterday:rotfl::rotfl:
Another workout planned for today and 2 miles on the treadmill
Edit: just completed 2 workouts and burnt 263 calories, will do treadmill later for another 250 cals. Just checked my exercise stats on myfitnesspal for this week and so far I've burnt nearly 3000 calories exercising (although I've probably had twice that amount in food and alcohol).0 -
Has anyone tried the Zumba, on Wii or anyother console? No classes close to me, so wondering what the `game` is like?Living debt free, since Sept 08 & Dec 10 :wall:
