Well I'm trying to catch up with last week's missed workouts. It does get a bit easier as you get used to it. Though I say that cautiously as sometimes the day-after aches are agony!

I did my first session yesterday and used 1.5 kg weights instead of the resistance band, and boy do I feel it today, for the first time ever the muscles in my arms really ache, so do my abs. I didn't do many crunches but I did do some bent arm planks which I haven't done before.

Next session programmed for tomorrow, I'll let you know how I get on.

Welcome SamanthaA, hopefully we can all help motivate each other :)

Maldives lover, did a workout this evening. Would be two a day to not miss any. My ankle's been giving me grief again, and physio has said not to push it too much. Aching a bit now but hopefully ok tomorrow. I worked up a real sweat earlier, didn't know my heart could beat that fast :o

I don't like lunges. I've figured out my thighs are very unworked. Hopefully that will improve!

    Hi sawan82

Yes I saw your stats, well done. We've got 6 in the group now and a couple of them are guys who are throwing in some good figures. This just makes me more determined to do well. Keep up the good work but mind the ankle, you might be able to set some of the exercises to focus more on upper body until your ankle feels better.

I don't mind the lunges, its the jump lunges I can't do but I'm liking the variety of exercises in SA2, 2nd challenge for me later today:)

Right, I need to get back into this, I've had long enough off after completing the 30 day challenge :o Being busy and having the living room buried in paper as I rearrange my fining is no longer a sufficient excuse! So tonight I shall aim to at least get on the Wii Fit for half an hour or so...

I had a week off after my 30 day challenge, I have to admit I was less and less motivated. I've just started the 6 week challenge on SA2 and have to say that I'm really motivated again, loving the new exercises and actually wanting to do the workouts, not sure how long that will last though:rotfl:

As the days get longer I seem to be more motivated, and don't mind exercising when I get home from work if it's still light.

Good luck I'm sure you'll enjoy it when you get started again.

I agree about the lighter evenings. I'm still plodding my way through the 6week challend on MW. I only ever seem to get a bronze medal for the previous days workouts. Is that me being rubbish?

I don't think it's you being rubbish, the most I ever got was a silver I think, do you complete the journal and the survey? You get extra points for that which could take you up to silver.

I'm feeling very proud of myself, did two workouts today on EA2 (over 1 hour in total) then ran/incline walked on the treadmill for 2 miles..... now where did I put that chocolate and wine:D

Have you given any thought to upgrading to EA2? I'm using the PS3 version (started this week) but I have to say I'm finding it tougher than MW. You don't need to hold the controllers with the later version which means you can use free weights with a lot of the exercises, I've been using 1.5 kg weights and I'm really feeling it in my arms and I have to say it makes some of the exercises easier to use with weights than the resistance band which I always found awkward and ofen twanged myself with it:eek: or the cable on the nunchuck

I might upgrade at some time, I want to do the harder 6 week challenge 1st, just to see how much harder it is
