Owie, I'm aching today! Test rode a friends horse for half an hour on Saturday, then did an hour and a half digging large clumps of grass out my gravel drive.
So you can only imagine my joy when I fired up EA Active Sports to hear the trainer tell me "today we'll be concentraing on lunges and squats, and I'm throwing some jump lunges and squat holds into the mix to really work your legs hard"
Lets just say I'm thankful Sunday was a rest day...Never underestimate the power of the techno-geek...0 -

I have Sports Active 2 on the PS3. Started with the 3 week cardio - did one week and nothing for two weeksSo started again yesterday with the 3 week program again.
Is it just me or do the lunges and squats kill anybody elses muscles too?? I'm not aching today like I was the first time, but boy it got my heart racing. No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

Welcome.:)
I think Maldives lover is getting this for her Birthday.
I'm a lover of the squats and lunges but I found the reverse crunches, leg raises very hard to begin with (on More Workouts). Not sure I've mastered them easily yet.Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

I'd highly recommend it. It is worth it definitely. I bought mine from Argos at about £47 but paid with nectar points, so free
Reverse crunches, those are the evil ones  Always forget what they're called, probably trying to deny to myself that they exist and how much they make me sufferNo buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

In track work, on the other hand, I can do the exercises easily with lots of praise, but it seems no matter how I run I can't achieve the calorie burn rate the stats graph says I should. I've tried running faster, slower, more exaggerated, less exaggerate, in time with the avatar - nothing seems to work! I've had the best results trying to keep it *just* into the 'perfect' message, but running faster just seems to mean you complete the run in a quicker time but without burning any extra calores from running faster - go figure.... :wall:Never underestimate the power of the techno-geek...0 -
I love my Wii fit and Just Dance but I would like something a little more challenging. My problem is space, I only have a floor space approx 7ft x 6ft in which to exercise! So would I be able to do either the Active or Your Shape in this tiny area?
I had My fitness Coach but found I just didnt have the space to do it in!0 -

You can do the EA More Workouts in a small space. Just need enough room to lie downLoved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

Although I do need to test if things will still register correctly if you lie down at a 90 degree angel to the screen (on More Workouts), as I haven't tried any of that kind of exercise yet due to starting the 30 day challenge on the original! :rotfl:Never underestimate the power of the techno-geek...0 -

I think you must be a sadist or machosist (not sure which is which:o) how can you enjoy lunges? My knees are shot from lunges and the stupid lunge jump things, arggghhh. On the other hand I don't mind the crunches so much I have a fantastic 6 pack, its just hidden under about 12 inches of fat:rotfl::rotfl:0
