Just done an hour on Wii Fit+ but I cannot get my fave Step exercise to work. It says "step off balance board" even though I'm not on it! I've tried and tried but cannot get it to work. This happened with the original Wii Fit but I assumed it was a scratch on the disc so I was so happy when I got the Wii Fit+ and it worked on there. It must be a prob with the balance board but everthing else works so I really don't know. Has this happened to anyone else?

Anyway, not posted for a few days, but I did 4 miles walk on Thursday, 4 miles on Friday, no exercise on Saturday (I ached and thought it best to rest) and an hour Wii fit+ today.

Your Shape definitely burns more than Wii Fit+ but I really didn't want to exercise today so thought an hours lighter exercise on the Wii Fit+ was better than nothing.

I am tempted to get The Biggest Loser Challenge as it is reduced http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0044R7VWA/ref=s9_simh_gw_p63_d1_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0P578B5S4V5B7J2KFV1J&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=467128533&pf_rd_i=468294
Does anyone have this and is it any good and does it have step?
    Many thanks. :)

Well I've just completed my first week of proper trying-to-lose-weight, I've been really careful with what I've eaten, been to the gym 5 times (I've only got a 7 day pass), done the wii when I haven't been to the gym and I've lost 5lb! I'm really pleased, although I secretly had hopes of losing about a stone as I've done so much :o however, I'll keep going next week and see what happens!
Hope everyone else is going well

    Hiya

I am about to commence on my "healthy eating and getting fit" new year resolution tomorrow. I am looking for some advice/ programmes to get started on the wii.

I have the wii fit, just dance, have just ordered the biggest loser wii workout and I have EA sports active - fitness coach. Hardly used any!!!

I am about 4 - 5 stone overweight, really unfit, cant do squats as my knees wont let me ??!! (EA was awful cos cant do squats!!!)

I think I work well if I have a workout schedule rather than just giving it a go -what do you all do as part of your wii workout?

    Thanks in advance, liz x

I haven't seen a step routine on Biggest Loser Challenge, I've just been on it at the minute i'm doing 20 min workouts, i find its a bit like having a personal trainer. I think its a good workout though :)

It started doing the exact same thing to me the other day actually and had no idea why. Only thing I could do to get it working was to turn everything off, unplug the wii, turn off the switch on the balance board. Left it for 5 mins and turned everything back on and it worked fine and hasnt done it again since. Guess there is some kind of glitch with the step exercise or something.....

Hope you get it sorted :)

    Good Evening All

It's great to see lots of new faces!

To the people having problems with their balance boards....try re-syncing it. I think I have read about this happening and most people recommend syncing the board and Wii again, it's worth a try.

Not great news here....Friday night I didn't get home till almost 9.30pm and had an awful headache so didn't do anything, yesterday I was toing and froing from the opticians as I had a contact lens trial and then proceeded to fall asleep on the sofa :o

OH has just said that he is going to do the washing up soon so I'll hog the TV for a while and do at least 30 minutes. Fridge is all stocked up with fruit and veg so here is to a good week!

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

Well over the last week my balance board says Ive gained a total of 4lbs! Not a happy bunny considering Ive been working out everyday for around an hour or more, and Im eating better food than before:mad: I suppose on the plus side though my stomach seems to have shrunk very slightly and my bottom is no longer like jelly - so yay there....Just don't get the whole weight thing though.....

Now Im up to 14lbs to shift rather than 10 :(
