got my Wii fit out today, only got the Wii fit game, which is a bit too much mini games for me,
I suppose i want something thats 20 mins of some routine, rather than keep pressing A (which means holding the wii mote, and trying to put in my pocket for half the activities)
any recommendations for good (gentle) workouts?0 -

EA Active (the first one) sounds ideal for you. Although you will still need to hold the remote, as you will for the majority of Wii games.Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

With any Wii game you're going to have to be holding the remote much of the time, that's how the thing works. With EA Active you also need the Nunchuk, which is either in you left had or on a specially suppled belt round your right thigh, depending on the part of the routine you're on. I'm getting better at changing it over!Never underestimate the power of the techno-geek...0 -

Wootball, is EA Active 2 really hard? I'm looking to get something that I can do along with the Wii fit plus so I dont get bored.Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -
 Hi, Can I join please?
I'm getting married at the end of April and weigh 1 1/2 stone more than when I met the beloved (18 months ago!) but need to lose about 2 stone in total to get to my ideal BMI. I would love to lose a stone by the wedding and work on the rest before our honeymoon in New Zealand in October.
I have been going on the wii fit since New Year but the H2B has decided it's a good idea too, so is cutting my time I can play! I have signed up to zumba classes, which start tonight and I am trying to be careful about what I eat (now I'm watching what I eat, i can't believe how many biscuits and chocolates I eat at work)
I'm thinking about buying the biggest loser wii game, it's £9 on amazon at the moment, I've seen other people raving about the DVD, so thought it might be good..
So, current stats:
Weight: 12st 9lb
Height: 5'9"
Ultimate aim: 10st 9lb
Jan aim: 5lb

Did my 3rd day of the EA Sports Active 9 week challenge today, plus 6 minutes boxing, I'm only just recoving from the first two but I know the aching is a good sign. Also walked briskly at lunch time for 30 minutes. Hoping to lose 3lb by the time I weigh in on Monday:j0

Hi Magicboo
Welcome aboard, I'm sure you'll be able to lose 1 stone before the wedding, good luck with the zumba, let us know how you get on. You could also try my fitness pal.co.uk to log your exercise and create a food diary, I've found it very helpful.
