On one of my aol accounts I have decluttered :D my toolbar, have looked everywhere to try and get it back but cant. I know you use it, have you ever had the prob and managed to sort. I have tried everything but guess I must have clicked on something by accident to get rid in the first place. I cant even browse web pages as that line has gone!

    TIA x
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • OK - Frodders, have updated my siggy! :)

De cluttering my fridge and giving it a good scrub, trying hard to fit some goodies in my overfull freezer (taking some things out of boxes now!). Kitchen looking great, pity my office looks more bombsite than office - its definitely a WIP

    Right best get on,

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Maxonian I'd do the smoking first or you'll find it disheartening if you put the hard to loose weight back on. It's the way I am trying to do it, been on the tablets.!
Poohbear go for a total turn of tables and send him with everyone elses too :D being silly aside, any news when it might be restored?!

Froddy there is a link on the AA website under winter driving. For me this isn't just snow but all times incase of breakdown/incident/extreme traffic shovel (ok maybe that's more for snow) piece of old carpet for putting under wheels in snow or to kneel on to change a wheel/sit on at roadside, or 2, blanket, first aid kit even a mini one from £1 store is better than nothing but one with a foil blanket is great, drinks (need to be replaced if they freeze) food of some sort (I use nutrigrain bars as they were on offer/easier) car charger for phone, change for a payphone incase of no signal, pen/paper incase of an accident, mini tool set includes multi screwdriver, adjustable spanner, hammer and cable ties.... Trying to think of the other stuff I have as must haves. !

When sending your request for the facebook group please include your mse name :) makes it easier for us all. Thanks ;)

KAZM I'm not quite sure where you mean they aren't appearing but you could try these http://info.aol.co.uk/aoltoolbar/5-0/help/troubleshooting6.html
One day I might be more organised...........

Did dinner at the DiL's parents - was lovely food as usual but I wasn't really in the mood.

Am now home and getting on the outside of a v. large G&T before going to bed to hibernate for the night.

Things WILL look better in the morinng...

I'm down on the "introduce yourself" page... Edited because it was personal detail and PP shoudn't be in an awkward position. x

I only put my first name on mse, because i figured it wasnt *that* much of a personal detail to give out so no one would have issues with it. have put my full details on the introducing me page on fb though :D

Pooh... hope you get water back soon!
Dusted over the non working cooker - it wasn't the bulb, so is either the installation or the oven itself. The consumer box is sectioned off into upstairs, downstairs and ring main, which is why I lost lights (and doorbell & smoke alarms) when it tripped.
Erm... I'm pretty sure you should have a separate circuit for the cooker in your consumer box... I know I have (then again my electrician is a perfectionist... annoying when you want something done in a hurry, but otherwise good...). Might be worth checking on the DIY forum?

Is it time to do a new exercise/weight loss thread on the facebook page? Greenbee, Poohbear and I still post on there and are still encouraging each other but I appreciate that it may be easier for others to join a new mutual support thread.
yes please. I've done nothing recently, apart from feel sorry for myself, so need to get moving.

DH has given up smoking, drinking and any sense of humour today :rotfl:.
Either you and the boys need to spend a lot of time out of the house, or you need to get him on tablets soon... I've been through this with a few of my friends and it isn't pleasant. If I can give up smoking by just forgetting to buy cigarettes, why do some people have to be so angry about it :p
    • Operation Spotty - can't talk about this just yet, but as soon as it's all official, you will be the first to know :D

I take it you don't want us to guess then... it's just, I have an idea or two...

Thank you! I will check the website but I have everything you've listed apart from a car charger for my phone - I will have to see how much they cost.

soappie - I have been doing a bit of family research and have just ordered my great grandfather's and great great grandfather's birth certificates :D I may need to pick your brains again at some point though (I know you're busy at the moment so no rush) as I'm still struggling with my grandmother's side of the family .......

Need to delete the personal details from here before PenPen arrives and is forced to put her official hat on :o

ETA waves at PenPen and whistles innocently...... (fascinated by operation spotty btw, does it involve Mudbath in a squirrel outfit?)

You can probably both guess - you know my interests well enough :p Please just guess in your heads, as I'd hate for anyone who knows me IRL (who I've not already confided in) to guess, or The Operation may fail, at which point the last but one item on my list goes belly up :(

Thanks hex - I'm having a day without my BG hat on; so shoot me :rotfl:

We had roast dinner, so it feels like Sunday, and I keep wondering where the new list is :p :rotfl: :o
