I have started a new discussion on the Facebook MSE Flyladies group here then we aren't clogging up the thread here.
Pantry is now clean and I can actually see what I have in stock. I have so little storage that keeping stuff tidy is critical, and I shouldn't let it slip. Must clean and list the freezer again tomorrow as I have just been shoving stuff in the top for weeks now.
ETA - Please, if you are sending friend requests on Facebook say in the request who you post as on here. Some of us are rather paranoid!'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Well I have been really naughty and just did a careers quiz on FB - apparently I should be an elementary teacher
Any careers quiz I have ever done has said that - think I should get my botty in gear and get the training done!
Right now I need to get my booty in gear and get some work done!!

Good evening  We've had anither relaxing day; late lie, long walk, roast Gloucester Old Spot and all the trimmings, bottle of fizz to celebrate DH's birthday
Now finishing it off with a DVD, a fire, a glass of Marsala, and my crochet :T
I've been thinking of more things for my 2011 list:- improve my crochet and make blanket from the new wool I've bought
- take up another skill for Lent (knitting socks, possibly
)
- Operation Spotty - can't talk about this just yet, but as soon as it's all official, you will be the first to know
- finish upholstering dining chairs
- declutter, declutter, declutter
- launch DD off to university :T
- learn to make sour dough bread
- improve my rased pie technique
- either keep my paid job, or find something to replace it
- make some of my needlepoint into cushions

May I please pinch your idea hun?

Feel free - it wasn't actually my idea, but something I read somewhere. I think it comes from 'The Secret' or I may have come across it on memory girl's thread. I thought it would be difficult, but I really enjoyed doing it.
There are 2 birthday presents and on Christmas present left under the tree - all DH's from me and the kids. He has a thing about not opening gifts on the usual day (apparently his dad was the same) and can't see why it bothers me. He had got better with it over the years, but I've had enough now. Thinking about taking two of them back to the shops and getting my money back! May keep the two cross stitch mags for myself. The only problem is that things have been quiet for a couple of weeks and I don't want to spark off a major row.
DW has been on and tea made and eaten, but apart from that DS1 and I are enjoying Terry Pratchett stuff on telly. Think I shall have an early night, even though DH will sulk if I don't wait up.
ETA Hoping to join in with the FB stuff soon. I'm not allowed to have it on the work's laptop, DS1's laptop isn't working properly and my PC needs a new modem or something like that. Must get it sorted soon.0 -
Need to delete the personal details from here before PenPen arrives and is forced to put her official hat on
There is an introduce yourself bit on the (closed) group here
I need to get off my backside and do some more in the kitchen but I am starting to ache now. I sorted a huge pile of the clean washing today and put that away but I am very behind on washing/ironing.
ETA waves at PenPen and whistles innocently...... (fascinated by operation spotty btw, does it involve Mudbath in a squirrel outfit?)'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
