Thanks to all at FLCC, for the lists etc.

OH has just informed me that I have frozen pipes at home! he is working night atm, but is on his way out here on Weds, so he wants to get it sorted before then, while he has been working nights the heating has been on constant, but that does not seem to be enough, but he says he will sort it, when he gets in.

I have now asked him to go to my office building and check there as well, but I did leave the heating on
Hope he manages to sort it out. Even with the heating on pipes will freeze if there isn't enough water flowing through the system - so if he does go into your office, make sure he flushes the loo a few times or runs the tap for a bit.

Parents have been and gone on their way back home. Suppose I should head off now and try to find a key cutting place that is open so I can attempt to get into the flat sometime this week...
  • Good morning! Snowing here, so the friends who we were supposed to be walking with this agfternoon, and then coming here for supper have asked if they can come for lunch instead, then decide on walking ;) DS is making a spinach and filo tart, and I'm steaming a second Christmas pudding :T

My ironing pile is small with just an armful of items that need doing. Will do this at some point over the next couple of days

Feel run down with this cold that I've had for the last 2 weeks

Eaten cheese and crackers with HM pickled onions and chutney and was mega nice! Yummy!

Think I'll have aquiet and relaxing afternoon curled up on the sofa planning what to preserve next year and when to do it, spaces for costs etc and then the same for next Christmas and what I've bought for next year, what I already have, where its stored and how many of each I have to avoid losing things next year

    Afternoon everyone

Toots - hope you have managed a sleep

    Hope pantomime trips are enjoyable

So far today I have WM x 2, TD x 1, emptied DW and put some more in, Sorted out old plates for charity shop, managed to put 2 books onto my Kindle [loving DH big time at the mo] lol

Plans for later are to pick up DD, more washing and drying and sort out kiddies presents [put away clothes and smellies] I leave their toys downstairs until they go back to school so there will be an untidy LR till then.

    Have a lovely day everyone

    Helen

ETA Fedup - hope you shift that bloomin cold soon and I'm impressed with the afternoon you are planning - very productive, wish I could do the same but I need no-one here to do that and that won't happen till they go back to school!!

Hi all, got the lurg, chesty horribleness I think courtesy from DD1. Taking all my supplements and hoping to fight it all the way.

Today I'll be mainly getting the turkey stock going, slicing up the remaining meat and freezing in gravy and having a look at what goodies need eating up.

DD1 has cleaned up the front room without being asked...:T

I've done a very cursory quick tidy up in the bathroom, folded towels and straightened it up a bit.

My friends didn't end up coming over last night as I was unwell and they weren't feeling too good either so we postponed.

I must say its really lovely in our bedroom still, feels very posh, all redecorated and carpetted, really nice to wake up in it but I still need to relocate my clothes from the chest of drawers in DD2 's room to somewhere.

Right off to get something to eat, hungry.

    Afternoon all,

Very lazy day today in bed until not long ago watching Come Dine with Me with LBF. Moon made us boiled eggs with Marmite soldiers for brunch followed by one of my sister's yummy oreo truffles that we got from her for Christmas, and in a minute we're off to the shops again to get snack and nibbles for new years. Just need to find some socks, and wash my face and teeth.

Then I suppose this avo should be used to clean up the house, starting with another load of washing and putting the xmas pressies away. Oh, and at some point I'm going over to my M&D's as I promised my Mum a ride in my not-so-new car.

Hugs to all poorlies or those with BD. Hello to LadyL and tootles.

    Love to all,

    sexymouse xx
