Good evening all, I am in this week, but like others have said....just keeping up with dailies and chilling out.

Hope all are well and Hugs and Spoons to those in need xx

DD is at DSD's tonight so have a peaceful evening in front of the telly planned. Went shopping to day with my mum but the shops are like jumble sales when the sales were on and I was just not in the mood!!!

Will have a little mooch at the online sales now and plan to pop into some different shops tomorrow to sort out phones and the dolls house.....

    Hugs to all xx

Well, a successful day all in all. Mostly spent researching and writing (good news is I've decluttered another bloke into the book so he's crossed off the list). But, I did intersperse the wordy stuff with flying stuff. Managed to get a whole line of washing just about dried before the rain started. I also cleaned out the chicken house and plugged a hole in their enclosure with some netting where one of the chooks had managed to do a mini-chicken run yesterday. Don't know how long she'd been out, but I only noticed her when she was trying to get back in - we'd assumed she was inside the hen-house somewhere!

Also chopped up and bagged up the remains of the Christmas Eve ham so that's in the freezer. I'll do the same with the turkey tomorrow. DW has gone on and the kitchen floor has been swept. Oh, and I also - go me! - cleaned the bottom of the oven. It got turkey fat on it on Christmas day and every time I've put it on since, there's this awful smell of burning grease. But not any more!

Now off to feed the menagerie and then make a turkey rissotto thing for dinner, timed to be ready for the new Miss Marple on ITV at 9pm.

thank you for the pm tootifruiti!
im feeling a bit smug as ive directed most of todays activities from the sofa! the kids did their 5min hotspot cleans of their bedrooms - the promise of an extra £1 spending money each this week got me the landing, stairs, hallway and lving room hoovered.
the promise of a bit of ;);) had DH doing all the washing and ironing
so i made tonights and tomorrows tea, made soup for work for the next 3 days and generally felt well and truly relaxed :)

oh, and nipped out to co-op and got bags of spuds, carrots, brocolli and swede at 75% off! so a very good day!

major panic - I had an e bay sale on xmas eve - and I could NOT find the item - a vintage button. Fortunately, after some careful searching in a few 'safe places' I found it - now packed and ready to post!
