Morning all

I was awake at 6.30, up at 7.30 and out the house by 8.10 Sooo not achievable when DD is here :rotfl: When I got to Asda I was sure it wasn't even open it was so quiet. Did a big shop and spent £80+ BUT that includes 3 boxes of beer for me which should last me for quite a while - couldn't pass it up at 3x15 bottles of bud for £18 when they're £9 a box :money:Also bought the majority of the party food for new year. DD and I make a buffet up and munch on it throughout the day, then again the following day while watching TV all day

X has text me to say he's got heating/water problems so won't be calling in with DDs pressies, so I'm going to go to town for a wander and mooch around the sales. Might as well to see if I can find anything for DD's birthday in April

Mondays list for me:
Wash up
Laundry x 2 (will wait until X has dropped off DDs pressies though in case there's clothing in that lot) - postponed until Tuesday
Ironing - post washing as I currently have none
Put DD's gifts away (including de-boxing etc as appropriate) - whats here is boxed up and ready to go up to her room.
Set Budget for 2011 (basing figures on no change in circumstances for the year)
Watch films that I've recorded for me
Make Pate for freezer (going to go and get the liver out now )
Sit & do NOTHING :D

Just going to watch the end of Entrapment & then I'll be off to town.

I'm in again this week, thanks to all at FCC and happy belated birthday pigpen.

Have been at my grandad's and MIL's over the last 2 days but living room still looked like a bomb had hit it this morning with all the bags of presents that have arrived home. Have now cleared presents to DD and DS's rooms - still need putting away but at least I can see the LR floor again! DW also unloaded and reloaded. Need to put WM on now and sweep/hoover downstairs.

Not going to take the lists TOO seriously this week but I know if I keep on top of it all all will be well.

Good morning, hope everyone had a good Christmas! Sorry didn't join last week but felt a bit overwelmt by it all.

Am in this week, trying to declutter at the same time as keeping the house tidy.

Need to change my life next year for the better so will start now!

I can manage Monday's tasks!!!!! Don't expect me to manage the ironing by New Years though as I'm not due to take it to my ironing lady until 3rd!

my list today

drving range with ds
tidy living room
kitchen
bathroom
toilet

do a budget
open and organise some piggy bank accounts
look at any finincial cut backs i can make and begin making them
check meter readings and record on imeasure
put away lingering christmas presents etc
clear laundry basket/mount everest behind the bathroom door
turkey and bubble and squeak for tea methinks
menu plan
and that should be enough for today as its half over already !!
