    I'm in thanks ladies xx

Had quite a good but hectic Christmas, keep catching up on bits of old Fred but probably time to give up

Tree is down after Ds1 knocked it over by accident. Food is in freezer that was left over. Some things cleaned up. Toys went upstairs on the day apart from ones in the car I need to get out tomorrow.

Going to do the kitchen & vacuum the tree debris first tomorrow ..... Night night xx
One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks to all at FLCC, for the lists etc.

OH has just informed me that I have frozen pipes at home! he is working night atm, but is on his way out here on Weds, so he wants to get it sorted before then, while he has been working nights the heating has been on constant, but that does not seem to be enough, but he says he will sort it, when he gets in.

I have now asked him to go to my office building and check there as well, but I did leave the heating on

  • morning, im usually a lurker but as ive lurked for so long im pretty hot at keeping on top of everything just from lurking! my kids have a roster of daily 5 minute hotspot cleans, and it works to my advantage as i get most of the housework done this way, and they earn thier pocket money.

i have the ironing basket challenge on my list to do today as im back at work tomorrow.

    best wishes everyone

    Hi all
I'm in - thanks to the usual suspects for keeping the thread going...

I've not been well...took to my bed at 6pm on Christmas day and have just resurfaced - caught tonsillitis from the boy. OH, to his credit, dealt with all the clearing up and did a fantastic job looking after the children all day yesterday (although there was a bit of 'poor me' by 5pm yesterday evening....). It's a rarified life he leads, methinks, and it annoys me that for him it can be optional - in that he can hand them back to my care once he's had enough. But then, I wonder whether I'm part of the problem? I've had time to think, you see, and that's dangerous!!

Anyway, I'm OK, the house is OK, the kids are OK and that's not a bad start to the day.

Hope everyone is well and has had a great Christmas?

    Take care

Morning all, Rhys decided to get up at 7 this morning. It's a shame i didn't go to bed until after 2, feeling very tired today.

Plan today is to keep the wm going and go and look at some kitchen tables and chairs. :j:j:j Hopefully by tonight i'll have new ones and we can all have dinner at the table again. :D

Best go and empty the dw and start the wm.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
