Morning all
It's lovely and quiet here as DH and the boys stayed up to watch the cricket. I'll leave DH until 9 and then wake him with a cuppa as he wanted to get the bedroom ceiling painted before his family arrive for the day (and night).
Cloudy here but no frost on the car today so it must be above zero. We are down to our last little bit of coal and last basket of logs so I need to pop to the corner shop later to get some coal and encourage DH or DS1 our to the back of the garden so see if there are any easy to hand logs to chop and store.
Plan:
empty WM
hoover downstaris
mop downstairs
S&S bathroom/shower room
feed birds
wipe around kitchen
DS1 - ice cake and tidy bedroom
DS2 - tidy bedroom and put puzzles away
DS3 - tidy bedroom and practice trumpetThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Wm and td both on, dw unloaded and reloaded. DS2 now up so i best get him some breakkie. Furniture man might not be open today for some reason i thought it was tuesday.
Most of our snow is gone, above zero temp yesterday and last night but we're due it all back again at the weekend i think.
Right gonna do a HHC in the kitchen.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

The snow is going and I can see our grass again. DH still asleep (stayed up as coughing too much to sleep), DD let the chooks out and now her and DS watching TV so jumped on here with my cup of tea. Will do my normal dailies - thanks for that Pigpen! MIL is on her way up today .... oh good .... so doubtless we'll go to SIL later today.
Cyclingyorkie, sorry to hear about your bad back. Are you going to an osteopath? I've been and it helped me when I was suffering.
Toots, sorry you couldn't sleep honey. Be good to get the wrapping finished though won't it as you don't want DB turning up and you can't give out the presents!

AnW'sMum, have a lovely time at the panto - what are you going to see?
We are off to see Sleeping Beauty, it's a local Am Dram production but they are so professional and do an amazing job. There are 20 of us all going so should be a fun day.
Toots I hope you manage to have a nap once the presents are wrapped. Might be worth turning the ringer off the phone so you get a bit of peace to rest.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Morning all
Very reluctant to get going this morning for some reason.
However, I am now showered and dressed, WM on and having a coffee to see if that wakes me up.
Looks as if we might be starting to thaw :j
Do hope it doesn't come back for a while.
Next I think I need to do a tidy (got a feeling the little tree might be going back in its box)
Walk/drive carefully if you are going out.0
