    Hey all,

Hope we all had a festive weekend. Mine was nice and relaxed with my parents and sister and her family. Having a pj day today, well seeing as I did not get up until 1 and now I am still not dressed there really does not seem a lot of point in getting dressed.

Just had a deliciously simple lunch of cheese on toast. Nomm!

Have been fairly busy so far have done a load of washing and put it in the dryer. The new dryer hose is now attached and I had a good clean up behind it while it was moved out. Have cleaned out the fire and made a nice new fire. Have fed the birds, cleaned out the fridge, S&S'd the kitchen and tidied away a few of my gifts.

The house is still untidy but things are slowly coming together. Going to chill now and whenever I get up do a little something, even if it is just putting something away. Slowly but surely it will improve.

  • Am finally home :D as much as i love my parents they drive me bonkers! just a few weeks before im back up there with wedding stuff. Thank god my best friend is home so i can escape to hers!

Have managed to tick bridesmaids dress and shoes off the list and have provisionally booked cars. so lots and lots and lots more to do including meeting photographer, meeting priest, getting cake iced, sending out invites etc:eek:

Its nice to be back home as everything is pretty clean and tidy so going to to put stuff away and shove the washing machine on and have something yummy to eat.

will be back flying tomorrow properly as tonight is chill out time.

Well I've been out and about sale shopping. All done now and I have a new bookcase for all the books we've got since they're currently 2 deep on the deep bookcase and it takes ages to find anything on there. Hoping to shift stuff around tonight or tomorrow. Will see how I get on with tidying up.

Also managed to get Christmas cards & wrapping paper for next year to put away :D

    Mondays list for me:
    Wash up
Laundry x 2 (will wait until X has dropped off DDs pressies though in case there's clothing in that lot) - postponed until Tuesday
Ironing - post washing as I currently have none
Set Budget for 2011 (basing figures on no change in circumstances for the year)
    Make Pate for freezer

Right, off to go and do the washing up and take this batch of pressies upstairs to DD's room.
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Hi everyone hope u all had a lovely xmas. my house is such a mess so here is my list for today
    do 3 loads of washing
put clothes away that have been ironed
    clean bathroom
sort through make up and find it a home
  • Wow, this is the first time I've ever achieved any part of the list without checking then planning a to-do list! Thanks to this thread the house has remained presentable over the last few days so don't aim to undo good work now.

Many thanks to all and hope you are having a great Christmas!
    Making small changes everyday....
