After all the talk on storage I looked up those bobbin boxes online... And realized I have 2! have them to store my quilting squares / hexies and can spare one for my floss bobbins
, so I got some more when I was out. And the 99p store threads I have I've put into some zip lock bags I and from holiday last year.
Thanks for the ideas everyone!Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!0 -
Shelly - I like the finished playroom
PAP - hows the gorjuss coming along
Chicky - I personally wouldn't chase the mag for prizes quite yet but maybe by about wednesday I would and I think the saying you were out and unsure if you missed the delivery was a good idea.
No-one round me appears to stock this mag anyway! I'll keep looking but was gonna decide whether on not to buy once looked at the front page. I wonder if they realise their lack of basic admin and courtesy skills have upset so many of their potential readers!!
I personally prefer to talk to you guys on here rather than via facebook - Although I look at FB every day I am not one for adding pages or links or liking pages at all - I just want to be nosey and see what my 'friends' are doing but more than that I'd rather do elsewhereits a much better atmosphere here :T
I finished something else last night.........
08072011247 by Observer!, on Flickr
for my friends birthday next week.
Edit: I made the colours up on this out of what I had and the design itself had a lot of gaps which I decided to fill with the white and the flesh and it looks WAY better than how they were supposed to look!
My next plan is to do a christmas card design I found thats on blue aida.
But now I really MUST get ready to go out - I did have 2 hours before I turned the laptop on.....after ordering from Ama#on and consulting this here page I now have 50 mins. oops lol.
Have a good weekend, well a good Sunday anyways, everyone :beer:Challenge savings 2010-2016 £1564.60:j

Evening ladies.
Observer. That cupcake card is lovely.....I love cake! We bought a treat last night from MrT's. Finest carrot cake was on offer and it was rude to leave it on the shelf :rotfl:
Today I chose my next kit to stitch. It's one of my favs out of my stash, it's of a tiger. Will post a pic of it on Monday but might start actually stitching tomorrow during F1. I have copied charts and sorted threads so I'm eager to get going!:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

Louise, those designs are lovely, the shading behind the cherries etc is really effective.
Hope you are taking care of yourself - make sure you eat and sleep as well as you can.
