Do you think there will be more members as a result of the article?

I am trying to find the motivation to finish my WIP, which is a bismillah in the shape of a bird, and then to move on to my cottage picture, which is a Thomas Kincade picture. It's for my sister, who loves his pictures. However I very much doubt I will get it done for Christmas, which was the original idea!

I liked the article but overall was disappointed with the magazine and don't think I will be renewing my subscription - I took up the 5 issues for £5 offer and I think I have two left. re the article, it would have been nice if they had said more about us and it is indeed a shame that when they asked Chicky for more info, they didn't specify that the deadline was imminent....

perhaps some of us (you guys, not me) could head over to their cross-stitch page and air views :D

eta Chicky - according to the info in this month's cross stitch crazy, each member of the club of the month gets a £5 past impressions voucher.... given there are at least 58 members in our club... it will be interesting to see how many (if any) they send....
i was wondering this. I am assuming it will be a voucher code to pass on. if this is the case i am reluctant to just post it here. what i was going to do was e-mail it to people (if that is ok) so if you would like it please drop me a PM.
@Magscat (i think without double checking) - if i was to upload it as a pic in the flikr group can only group members see it??

sorry guys there is no wayyyyy i can afford to snail-mail post on 58 vouchers :D

Chicky - post it on Flickr as a private picture then add it to the group as normal - that way only the group members will be able to see it.

Cross Stitcher landed on my mat today also but the free kit doesn't appeal and there isn't really much that inspires me to stitch in the mag. I'm almost tempted to cancel that as well.

I bite the bullet and cancelled my subs after much soul searching. I am trying so hard to get back into my stitching but work is so tiring - still no news of when I move to my new post. I will have to look out something to do for Leo - need to find out more details about him. Pity they are so far away - he was born in Hawaii.

Time to check facebook and relax a wee bit before bed - I am popped.

    Kind wishes to all

Just a quick update before bedtime - managed to get a few hours xstitching done this afternoon. I'm going to stick with Cottage Garden until its finished - even if I wait for framing until funds have improved.

Disappointed with mag article (amount) - especially when chicky had produced a real masterpiece.

Never mind - no more whinging for tonight.

Enjoy your weekend whatever you are planning on doing. I'm considering buying a folder or something to tidy up the charts I have scattered here and there.
