Also got a disney princess limited editoin tinkerbell sketch stitch kit and an anchor kit called the trotters which is a row of pigs walking along in a line, a small embrodery hoop and two pairs of really chunky knitting needles all for £7:T

Chicky - hope things have improved over the weekend.

Mrs MP - great buy from the car boot sale. I don't go to them as I end up with my son buying rubbish. I could actually do with taking some junk to the carboot myself, I seem to have been keeping my local hospice CS in stock lately. Every time I have a day off I end up dropping things there. Think I've nearly finished the sorting now so might actually go in and have a look instead of just dropping off.

Shelly - love this tiger. It's reminded me of something that I found on Thursday when I was sorting out my craft cupboard. When my mum died she had been stitching a tiger for my dad. I couldn't cope with finishing anything so bundled everything up into several bags and put them in my cupboard. Earlier this year I found the tiger and threads but no pattern. I couldn't even find what the name of the piece was so I think I got rid of it. Can remember being upset but don't know if I threw it out. On Thursday I found a box with the picture and I think the chart - didn't look too closely as didn't want to get upset (again). Have kept the box just in case I didn't throw the aida and thread away.

Will post a picture of my MP sampler later.

Those carbook bargains sound great! I never find any cross stitch stuff but did get a 'ready to sew' toy snail for 20p yesterday for some bizarre reason!!!

Chicky - Forve him to sit down; blokes are a nightmare for bottling stuff up and chickening out of any meaningful talks by heading off to the pub. Hope it gets sorted & thinking of you (hugs).

Everyones work looks great. Love the cupcake - keep meaning to stitch something like that for decoration on my stalls.

Am currently stitching the free Faye Whittaker card that was on WOXS a month or so ago. Need to get going as it has to be in the post by Wednesday. Then I WILL finish Titanic!!! :rotfl:
