Chicky - love the wedding sampler, it hasn't taken you long. The article looks great will have to invest in a copy of the mag next week. They'll wonder why their sales are up with us all rushing out to buy a copy!! Thanks for your help earlier, will think about what to do next.

Ruth-Honey - have a lovely time at the wedding.

I've had a bit of a crumby week (although still good compared to others so sorry to moan - just thought I'd share). My car started to make a funny noise on Monday so took it to the garage I use and he repaired it after much muttering of it costing upto £500. I trust him totally so know he wasn't just saying it to rip me off. Anyway he returned my car to me about 2 hours later saying he had fixed it and didn't owe him anything - see he is nice.

I used the car Tuesday and it ran like a dream until I was doing 40 on the dual carriage and it gave a bang and sounded like a back firing motorbike. To cut a very long story short I had to be towed to the garage who had to bring in a specialist to repair the engine and £100 later it's now fixed. That accounted for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Today my son was off school due to the strike and we were going to go out for the day but I woke with a migraine and spent most of the day in bed, hence I am now wide awake.

Anyway a quick update on the MP wedding sampler, I think I've finished all of the main stitching with the exception of the hearts floating around the outside. Loads of backstitching to do though. Will post a picture tomorrow.

Chicky - that sampler really is lovely :T

Ailsb - Don't you just hate it when everything goes wrong at once! You were lucky you weren't going any faster when whatever it was blew, and that price doesn't sound too extortionate, you sound like you have a decent mechanic there lol

Keiss - still rooting for you to get that elegant lady finished! Look forward to seeing some pics of your other crafts as well :)

Quick update from me. Have done all the X's on my piece so just backstitch to go now.
Had to unpick the drum stitcks twice though as I was too interested in the tennis so kept going wrong :D

Cancel your subscription now, I've waited till after I've received the last mag only to find out it was too late, although they did refund the money and cancelled it. it was a bit of a worry though. Any that I do on offers now I cancel after I've received the first mag. HTH. By the way, they take the money in one go.Jude x
thank you for the info. i took out the 3 for 3quid too, am now waiting on issue 3 so will cancel tonight.
