Ooops, it's not the lovely Shelly who's sending me some white, she's sending me the chart for the top of my wooden box. It's the equally lovely bikerchick, sorry :(

I thought bikerchicks chart was for the top of your box? I am sending a cottage scene :D

Plus, if you use two strands of black, you'll be able to start it with a loop knot rather than threading it through stitches - so much easier ;)

How thick am I - no don't answer :D I hadn't even thought about doing that. Have done some more this evening and will leave it as 2 strands.

Haven't done much as had half a bottle of wine and don't want to mess it up. Has taken me ages to type this as fingers not hitting the keys properly. Don't understnad why. :rotfl:

Judellie - your stitching is lovely. Tenby Harbour looks great and the ones your Mum has done are stuning.

I'd love to use that as my excuse but I even checked my PMs ;)

Judellie, I love your pictures but I don't envy your Mum doing all that red on her pics!

No stitching today. :( Been busy doing boring bits and pieces (housework/sorting food delivered by Mr T/preparing food for barbeque/helping with diy project) oh and reading book - Linwood Barclay - Fear the Worst - less than a hundred pages to go now - should finish it tomorrow ! :j

But housework all done now - well pretty much - upstairs needs a quick going over but once thats done can settle down and relax with some stitching tomorrow. Yay!

Have just been looking on ebay at the newton cross stitch kits. Really like the newton garden sampler that is for sale but can't justify the price - £7.50 plus postage and there is no material :( have set up a search though so hopefully someone else will have one for sale soon and at a cheaper price :T

Got The Rock on the in the background. I love that film. Must dig out the cd soundtrack. If you have seen this film, what is your favourite scene ?
