In other news....I am a Klutz I dropped one of my thread boxes when I was tidying up earlier and the whole lot went everywhere. Spent ages putting them all back in order.

Still, Federer then Murray are on centre court from 1pm so I am going to chill out and watch both matches with my stitching. Just working on some more little card sized pieces atm - once I have built up a little stockpile I will spend an afternoon cardmaking. :cool:

Only 2 more days till the school hols:j

welcome back those who have been AWOL. doh *louise* i had one of those days the other day.

yayyy i founnd a basic clear plastic orgaiser box in mr M for £2........bargain.......now to order the bobbins. don't think i'd like the bags as i'd not bother to put the threads back in em lol.

I've got a few DMC white ones and none of them seem to match. Across Town Stitching sell both brands, so I think I'll order an Anchor white and some other DMC ones. The only worry is how many of those 'drop' into my basket

I have a couple of duplicate cross stitch patterns in my stash. They are free to a good home. I'll even pay the postage if anyone wants them. (I got them free due to a postal error in the first place, so I am not out of pocket at all).

I don't think threads have mods as such, rather the board that the thread is posted on has a board guide. The guides for the Special Occasions board are Mrs Tine and savvy.

Are you worried that what you want to post will break some rules? Post a rough idea and let's see what concensus is

nykied -how much Anchor white do you need? I have some bobbins with white on them...I don't think it's a full skein though. You are welcome to them all as I don't use Anchor anymore...I prefer DMC. PM me if you want them.

just emailed the mag as was concerned they had asked for my address ages ago and i never got anything and apparently the kits are on their way today.

have asked them 3 times what date the mag is out and had no reply so if anyone subscribes to CSC can you give us a yell when we appear......

ohh has anyine seem this, you can get cross stitcher as a digital magazine!!

not sure if i'm keen or not...on the 1 hand it'd save space. on the other i like a real one in my hands (bit like i feel about e-books i suppose!)
