Have had a busy few days with my cross-stitch. I have done some 4th of July cards for some friends of mine who are American ex-pats and who will feel a bit out of things on that most American of holidays!! :) I can't post pictures of them because I forgot to take photos before delivering them.... Silly, silly me! :o

I have had an idea to catalogue my stash of projects. I have a feeling that I have a couple of duplicates in terms of the kits and stuff. I might make a start on that tonight, if there is nothing that catches my interest on the telly tonight! Otherwise it will be back to my Love Angel and the big project! :)

I got one when my OH subscribed to one of the magazines for my birthday :D

Mine's the heart picture and I don't like it, the box has been sat there since March, unstitched. I don't suppose you or anybody else has a ;) of the sewing things chart?

Or does anybody have any ideas of a picture that shape that I could do instead? I've been looking in all my magazines but all the charts are either too big or square

DS bought me this for Christmas (OK, I bought it and got the money off of him!!)

PM me your address and I'll pop a copy in the post for you :)

Haven't done a lot over the last few days, just been sooo tired, so not sure will complete my June challenge. Not far off though!

How's the chemo going Biker? Are you coping alright? Xx

Bless you for asking TMIF. I suppose I've been lucky so far, no nausea or sickness, just an overwhelming feeling of tiredness. I've only missed three days in the office so far, but don't know how long that will last.

I'm at work today and am counting down the minutes to half past five. DH cooking dinner tonight, will try and stay awake long enough for Holby then bed.

I get frustrated with myself because every bit of leisure time is spent sleeping instead of stitching.

My lunchtime projest is coming on well though as I have virtually stopped smoking  so have a whole hour of designated stitching time.

I'm afraid that in my list of priorites, sleep comes above stitching - heresy maybe!

Glad you're doing ok (mainly) Will they be doing scans to see how the chemo's going? Let us know!

Do you think that being at work is helping you focus?

I'll have another Ultrasound scan before the 4th treatment at the end of July. Should get a date for surgery then too.

I don't know about focussing, it helps with paying the mortgage though :rotfl:

    One is not amused

I ordered the chart for 'A little princess sleeps here' from the Faye Whittaker website a while back (it said 1-3 days for delivery and I had actually forgotten I had bought it, that's how long it's taken!)

Anyway I digress - it arrived yesterday and I sat down oday to start preparing the fabric and threads and when I opened it up - no flipping chart!!!! Just a picture cover and completely blank inside

Have emailed them - wonder how long it will take to get a replacement!
